"Superman!"

"Batman!"

"Superman!"

"Batman!"

Basically, I decided to spend my Friday night having a superman marathon to take my mind off of work. Mainly, I'm giving myself a retaining order from choking the hell out of Veronica for threatening me for the past five days. On the other hand, Ace surprised me once again by coming to my apartment. Now we're like nine year olds arguing about which superhero is better.

"Superman is way better than Batman. He has super strength, can fly, super speed, cold breath, and shoot laser beams out his eyes. He's the full package." I stated proudly.

"Please, Superman has a weakness, which is kryptonite. Gave him a dose of that he's dead. Batman overcomes all his fears which make him invisible. So, he's better." Ace disagreed.

"No he's not. All because Superman has a weakness, it doesn't mean he's bad. Besides, it's going to be hard to get kryptonite near him. He's smart you know."

"Not as smart as batman." Ace smirked.

"Arggggg Superman"

"Batman"

"Superman"

"Batman"

"Supergirl"

"Wonderwoman"

"Cookies and cream" I yelled.

"Pralines and cream" He yelled back.

"Apple"

"Pear"

"Up"

"Down"

"For the love of God, I'm done." I said in defeat while I pouted my lips.

Ace erupted with laughter which made me started to laugh as well. After we settled down, the smile on Ace's face changed into a frown.

"I'm sorry about Monday, Tuesday, surely Wednesday, Thursday, and today. Veronica isn't really the cheese on tacos. She's more like the hot sauce."

"You got that right for sure." I said, "She's just so arrogant Gosh."

"Yes, she is." He agreed.

"You know I think she likes you."

"Pfft Veronica, She's not my type."

A feeling inside of me was wondering if I'm possibly his type. Unfortunately, I doubt that. He's probably more interested in rich women with an English accent. All I'm going to be is in the friend zone and remain in the friend zone.

"Well its 1:50 in the morning and I feel sleepy." I looked at the clock on the wall and yawned.

"Alright, I guess I have to get going." He rose from the sofa and I did the same.

I followed him to the door and spoke.

"Well, it was nice having an argument about superheroes with you." I said in a professional tone.

He chuckled and said, "It was very nice indeed. And Oh I almost forgot Madison wants you to meet her at the mall tomorrow for you all can go shopping and do other womanly things."

"Okay, I'll go"

"Great. I'll let her know."

"Alright."

" Goodnight Harper."

"Goodnight Ace."

Madison West isn't any typical woman who takes thirty minutes in just one store. Also, she isn't the type that wore so much makeup that it looks like a three year old masterpiece. No! Madison is more of a determine person and is very optimist.

"Madison, for the 20th time. Ace doesn't like me, like me. " I told her as I stuffed my mouth with French fries.

"Girl, you need to slow down or you're going to choke." She stated as she eat her Caesar salad.

I wipe my mouth with a napkin and spoke.

"What makes you think that he likes me anyway?"

"Are you blind Harper? Don't you see the way he looks at you and even smiles at you? Stop being in denial."

"Arggg I don't think he likes me. At first, I thought he likes Veronica because she's one of his assistants. She fit the whole black team as well, black hair and everything."

"Don't study that black theme nonsense. The employee made up the whole thing because they thought it was cool and cliché since our boss last name is Black. I actually don't really care. Sometimes, I wear black, but other colors as well. Plus, my hair is dark brown with chestnut highlights. I'm going to keep it that way." She pointed at her curly short afro which complimented her dark skin complexion perfectly.

"Oh, also last night Ace told me that Veronica isn't his type so I guess..." I started, but Madison cut me off.

"Wait! LAST NIGHT!" She shouted as she rest down her fork.

Everyone attention was focused on us which made me sink down in my seat.

"Nothing to see here people... Carry On." She yelled at the audience.

"LAST NIGHT! Ace went by your place last night!" She bellowed.

"Yeah" I replied as I took a bite of my hamburger.

"You just blushed!"

"No I didn't!"

"Yes you did. You just do it again, which only means that Ace gave his rattle snake."

"What! We didn't do anything. That's wrong too, because he's my boss." I uttered.

"Please! There's nothing wrong about being in a relationship with your boss. It's way more appropriate than a teacher and student relationship."

"True, True" I drank my medium size cherry coke.

"Why the hell is she doing here" Madison fumed as she looked behind me.

Quickly, I turned around and narrowed my eyes.

"That Bitch" I mumbled under my breath.

"Hi" Veronica tossed her hair over her shoulder. Welcoming herself to the table, she rudely sat between Madison and I.

"What brings you here?" I scowled.

"I'm here to talk to you Harper and Madison here is my witness."

"I'm all ears." I gave her a fake smile.

"Okay... You little stupid fucking bitch. Stay the fuck away from Ace. Fall off a fucking building or hang yourself. He's mines. Not yours. Ace doesn't want an ugly mother fucker like you. He wants a sexy woman like e. Get that shit straight!" Veronica exclaimed.

She got up from her seat, spilled my drink all over me, and walked away snickering. My clothing was soaked wet, which aggravates me.

"That's It" I rose from my chair and stormed after Veronica.

I yanked her ponytail furiously. She screeched in pain and turned around.

"Wrong move bitch!" I punched her squared in her face.

It didn't take long for a crowd to gather around us. As a result, this turned out to be more than a cuss out. It was a fight as well.

Get your phones ready people. It's about to get down!
