Welcoming

Wind whistled into his ear causing an array of ringing, small breaths escaped from his lips ignoring the fear; why did he say yes? matthew you idiot he told himself, he knew he wasn't in candor though was easily too honest-candor capabilities. He brushed his pure brown eyes slowly before biting his lip causing a small amount of blood to drip down his chin as one thought become clear prominent over others; what was he signing up for? the dauntless instructor amar pointed toward the building's edge and soon enough he bent his body over the ledge to see a dark hole in the second building below. He gulped not sure on what to process, though after the gulp his throat became dry as he tried to speak though could only surface the word "I" repeatedly in a orderly fashion before looking at the gravel which his feet stood on. He couldn't speak, who could blame him really. His vision blurred as his voice  stayed cumbersome in a croaky expression as Matthew whimpered slowly, he opened his lips to speak with fear and afraidness "what am i doing?" he asked amar to which he quickly responded jump; just as amar told him the action matthew turned around blurting out a come back hurdling toward disrespect "I can't do that! I don't understand why!" he called out the candor getting the better of him though no matter one of the dauntless borns pushed him  from the ledge into the dark hole. He let out a loud scream falling down the hall covering his eyes frantically panicking as he fell, who wouldn't I mean he thought he was going to die a brutal death; and it was a possibility. His vision was darkness as he fell down the hole, he heard the screams echo as his body was met with a rope object which shot him up multiple times until the ropes stayed still. He gasped awaiting to face the true afterlife though once he opened his eyes shining lights blinded his sight, shouts clouded his hearing as a small smile appeared upon his lips hoping that he was in afterlife though once the lights disappeared he met at the gaze of another dauntless member; confusion spared his mind was he alive?

the voice came from the man's lip for the seventh time he saw the lips move though prior to now matthew couldn't hear what the dauntless member was saying to him but this time it was different.   "i will ask you again candor, what is your name!" and immediately though sincere gesture he said slowly and with vulnerability "matt..." he said his nickname though coming from candor his speech was rather formal compared to other people whom had different birth factions. Matthew opened his soft lips only to say slowly with heartbroken nature "matthew" he said with tone represented to be only more firmly, before clarifying Matthew closed his eyes before nodding to sooth his mind; soon he confirmed his name by saying softly "Matthew...Matthew, my name is Matthew." He told the dauntless man to which he nodded slowly. Matt was lifted from the net where he landed softly on his feet, he awaited to see what the man would say after the nod. The dauntless man shouted rather forcefully calling toward the group of fully fledged dauntless on the other side of the room "first jumper matthew!" the man called which not long after cheers from the other dauntless filled matthew's eardrums in a continuous pattern. This of course brought a small smile to appear on his cold lips, for a long time it had felt forever since he last smiled was shown as he felt like he finally belonged somewhere. Matthew smiled and shyly glanced toward the stone floor though the man who called out his name touched matthews white blazer; white blazers were apart of the candor uniform. The man from dauntless gave Matthew a sincere smile before wrapping his muscular arm around Matthew's shoulder, Matthews heart beated as the man wrapped his arm around his shoulder as he realised he was blushing; he knew that he had a crush on this man though it didn't matter as his feelings shifted toward freedom. Especially when the man whispered into Matthew's ear "Welcome To Dauntless"
