Chase and I were walking around the lake. We were holding hands and there were families camping too.
"I can't wait to be married and have my own family" I said looking at them.
"Yeah waking up to the person you love next to you every single day and going to bed with them next to you knowing they will be there. Then having little children that look just like them running around. I want that in fact I want that with you and I can't wait to have little Sera's running around" he replied. I stopped and looked at him.
"You really want that with me?" I asked. He smiled and lightly kissed me.
"I want it with you" he answered. I smiled and put my hands on his sides. He leaned down and kissed me again.
"Can we stay here?" I asked.
"We can stay here as long as you like baby girl" he answered. I kissed him.
"Will you officially be my girlfriend?" He asked. I pulled away from him and looked him in the eyes.
"Yes" I said smiling. He pulled me closer to him and kissed me. I kissed him back and we continued to walk around the lake to get to our camping spot.
"Do you need any help with that?" Chase asked. I turned around and looked at him.
"No I wanna cook for you. It's Christmas" I answered.
"But I think you're going to burn the house down" he said as the smoke alarm went off. I turned around to the stove and jumped away. The pan was on fire and Chase grabbed the pan with a towel and put it in the sink. He turned the water on and the fire went out. He looked at me and I shrugged.
"Sorry?" I said. He laughed and pushed me away from the kitchen.
"I don't want to hurt your feelings but you suck at cooking and I'm banning you from the stove or microwave. It's now my kitchen" he said going to the kitchen.
"But it's my house" I replied.
"Well when I'm around this is my kitchen" he responded. I shook my head and sat down on the couch. I watched Frozen that was on the tv.
"You're going to be alright. She's a bitch and you don't deserve this" he said. I looked up at him and wiped my tears away.
"She's not going to stop" I replied. He sat down next to me.
"If she doesn't want to stop I will always be here for you no matter what" he responded. I looked across the empty hall way. I looked back at him and he was looking at my arm. I looked down and saw where her hand left some bruises.
"She's not going to get away from hurting you like this. I won't let her. I think you should learn how to protect yourself from others" he said.
"I don't want to hurt anyone" I replied.
"And if she hurts you again?" He asked.
"Then she hurts me" I answered.
"You can't say that. I don't want you to get hurt anymore. You need to fight back" he responded. I shook my head and looked away from him. He pulled me into a hug and I closed my eyes.
I opened my eyes and I wasn't in a familiar room. I felt some pain but not a lot of pain. I looked around the room and noticed I was in the hospital. I remember hanging upside down in the car and I also remember Chase. The doctor came in with Chase behind him.
"Get out" I said.
"What?" The doctor asked.
"I don't want him here" I answered. Tears were coming out by now and the doctor had Chase get out.
"Do you remember what happened?" He asked. I nodded.
"Well you hit your head pretty hard and we had to give you stitches on your forehead. You fractured you right ankle. Your going to be on crutches for awhile. Chase the guy you wanted out called in the accident. He was the one that found you" the doctor said.
"I wanna go home" I replied. He nodded.
"Let's give it one more day and then you can be released" he responded.
"I wanna go home now" I said. The doctor looked at me and then nodded.
"We will get you your release forms" he replied. He walked out of the room and I sat up. I felt pain but I didn't really care.
Chase took me home and then I slammed the door in his face when I got in. I asked Effie to come over and she came over. I was sitting on the couch watching a movie. She brought Chinese over with her and we just sat there watching the movie.
"Have you talked to Chase?" She asked.
"He brought me home. I didn't say anything to him" I answered.
"You know he's standing right outside the door right?" She replied.
"Let him" I responded.
"I know you're mad at him but you should give him a chance to explain what he did" she said.
"Do you wanna be the next person I slam a door in their face?" I asked.
"Okay I get it you don't want to talk about it but you should. Maybe there was a reason why he did that to you" she answered.
"You know before I woke up in the hospital I thought of moments between me and him that we had. I love him but he cheated on me after he asked me to be his girlfriend" I replied.
"I think you should hear him out" she responded.
"I don't know if I can deal with the pain of him telling me what happened and I'm in enough pain as it is" I said. She nodded.
"Would you like me to get you some aspirin?" She asked. I shook my head.
"When you are okay enough you should talk to him" she said.
"Maybe" I replied. She nodded and looked at the tv. I was staring at the tv not watching what was in but staring at it. I don't know if I wanna hear him out.
