Chapter 9....

Kenny's POV

I looked over at Natsu and Dominic and sighed. I should tell them... I stood and looked at my older brother "Hey Dom?" He looked at him and raised his eyebrows as if to say 'yes?' I took a deep breath "Dom... This morning Mom told me something that I think you guys should know..." At that he chewed his lip and set Natsu down. He sat beside him and flicked Natsu's forehead.

"Wake up," he said simply "Kenny has to speak to us."

Natsu whined and woke up "This better be good..."

I wish it was good, I thought "Mom said she wasn't... Our real mom... That she adopted us..."

Dominic's eyes widened and he teared up. I sucked in a breath, I've never seen him cry before... I walked over to my big brother and hugged him tightly. He laid his head on my shoulder holding back tears, unsuccessfully I might add. I looked at Natsu trying to see how he was dealing with it.

The hammer disappeared from over his head and suddenly he clenched his fist tightly pulling up grass. He panted heavily and I knew he was going to snap. I grabbed Dominic and pulled him away just as Natsu punched the tree. He wasn't all that strong but what happened afterwards made me scream, the tree burst into flames.

Dominic's eyes widened then narrowed a bit. He walked to Natsu and gripped his shoulders tightly "Natsu. Stop, right now"

Natsu was breathing heavily as he looked up at Dominic. Something was wrong, And it wasn't that I just told him he's adopted... I frowned

Natsu's POV

I looked up at my older brother slightly panicked. Was my whole life a lie? Was everything a stupid lie?! Something inside me was raging, I was always known for my temper but this was something else. I felt flames inside me and I looked at the tree I had punched. I gapped, did I really make it burst like that?

I realized I didn't care. She lied to us, for our whole life! Do they honestly expect me to do nothing?!

"Yes." Dominic said sternly and I realized I said that out loud "You will do nothing but accept it. Demigods are heros, not flat out revenge takers. She kept you safe, and loved you and us our entire life. So you better fucking believe I expect you to do nothing!" His eyes flashed white and the wind picked up.

I frowned. I wanted to yell, to scream and scold him for being such an idiot. But something about the look in his eyes held me back. I shoved his hands off of me and glared at him. I walked off into the so called camp not caring where I was going. I just needed to be alone...

3rd person POV (I think I'm going to use this more often than not)

Nickie walked around the camp angrily. How dare Dominic deny a quest! More importantly, not do what she told him! She growled low in her throat as she thought of it.

Dominic sighed and looked at the trees just as Bonnie and Blake returned. They were covered in deep and shallow scrapes but Bonnie was worse. She must've tried to turn one to ash, the dummy.

"Hey D..Dom..." Her eyes rolled and she fell face first into the ground. Dominic's eyes widened as he saw the giant, deep gash on her back.

"Rosie!" He yelled and ran to her. Blake stood beside them leaning against a tree, his sword beside him and a stab one on his stomach but it seemed shallow.

"Healer... Infirmary..." He panted out.

Kenny's eyes widened and she ran over. This girl saved her life... It's time she returned the favor "Dominic move"

He refused and Kenny frowned. She leaned back on her arms and snapped out both legs kicking her brother away "I said move!" She ignored her frowning sibling and laid her hands on Bonnie's back trying not to gag at the blood. She focused her thoughts on her father, God of healing. She slowed her breathing and slowly but surely the blood stopped seeping from Bonnie's back. She stopped and panted resting her hands on her knees. She needed practice on that. "Dominic... Take her... Blake... Help..." She groaned and blacked out.

Blake picked up Kenny with a groan. It would be easier if he wasn't injured. Dominic picked up Bonnie and they made their way to the infirmary. While the whole while, Dominic was looking for Nickie.
