Mitch's POV

*setting was when they were about 15 by the way, to clear up any confusion*

"Oh he's cute," my best friend, Scott Hoying said, pointing to a cute guy while we were walking down the street. I slapped his arm. "I mean, she's cute?" I nodded. He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, she is," I mumbled with my hands in my pocket.

Scott knew not to talk about guys being cute around me. I was scared, scared I was gay. I knew Scott was, but I didn't want to be that... there's nothing wrong with it, it's just, I don't know. Maybe I'm scared of what other people might think of me...

"Mitch, you know, it's okay to be gay-" I covered his mouth with my hands.

"No." He rolled his eyes and moved my hands.

"Whatever, Mitch. It's whatever. I don't care if you're in denial or not." He started to walk away from me. I, having to go to his house, followed him.

When we got home, we set down our stuff and made some food. It was a pizza pocket type of day, so we made some. We made regular cheese ones, since that all he had. We sat down at the kitchen table, sharing a plate of cheese pizza pockets.

"Are you sure?" I looked at Scott, confused by his question. I shoved another pocket in my mouth. "Mitch, lying about your feelings isn't healthy." I choked on the pizza pocket and spit it out on the floor.

"Sorry about your floor. But, I'm not lying about my feelings! I'm completely straight!" I stood up, slamming my hands on the table. Scott looked up at me. "I don't like boys, not one bit!"

"Really? Is that so?" He slowly started to stand up and leaned across the table, getting very close to my face. "You're completely straight?" He raised his eyebrow, looking me straight in the eyes.

"Wh-what, what are you getting at?"

He looked down at my lips, then back into my eyes. "Maybe if you, I don't know, kissed a boy, maybe? Or did some other things. Maybe you'd enjoy it."

I couldn't say a word! This was weird, really weird. But I think I liked it? Is that bad? I just stared at him, blinking repeatedly.

"If you don't respond, I'll take it as a no, and sit back down and eat food," he warned. Say something Mitch!

"Uh, I, uh..." I kept looking back and forth from his eyes to his lips.

"I'll take this, as a yes," he whispered and leaned a bit further, connecting our lips.

asdfghjkl That describes how I felt during this. I don't know if it was Scott, or like, what.

He moved away and walked over to my side of the table, standing inches from me. We didn't say anything for a while. I was waiting for him to do it again.
