I woke up in the morning,
The house was quiet,
I walked into the sitting room, yawning.
I turned on the tv,
Sat on the couch,
Lilo and Stitch staring back at me.
Halfway through the show,
Mum came in,
And said you had to go,
I cried, and cried,
Sat on her lap,
While she told me that the two of you had tried!
Six years on,
Im stronger now,
And old enough to know that you, were wrong.
I haven't seen you in a year,
And now when I think of you,
It's hard not to shed a tear.
But you keep trying,
Saying you're sorry,
But I'm not buying.
I know you're sorry,
But I don't care,
I'm no longer your baby.
And at the end of the day,
I'll always remember,
That it was you who walked away.
