Luke yawned as the plane touched down on the runway, he was in america again and even if it was only nine in the evening, it still felt like three in the morning for him , jetlag is a bitch.

Getting up and grabbing his bag, the tall lad made his way through the plane's cabin with the rest of the passengers, dying to get out and go home already so he could crawl in his warm bed next to his fiance.

The past four years have been amazing , Luke ,now 23 , had been living his dream. Playing for the Chicago's Black Hawks had been everything he always wanted and more, just being able to be there on the ice and making everyone proud, including his now fiance, Ashton.

It had been right before the big NHL season , knowing he was going to be away for awhile and wanted to let Ashton know that he was truly and madly in love with him.

Luke had gone all out by inviting Ashton's family and Calum and Michael to one of the best restaurants in town. He had gotten on one knee just right after their main dish , even though he had planned an entire speech and practiced it hundred times, when it got to the moment he was on one knee, he just couldn't say more than "Ashton,would you please marry me" 

Luke still remembers his clammy hands, shaky breaths and his heart thumping so loud and hard against his chest in fear that Ashton was going to say no in the middle of the restaurant and that everyone would pity him but luckily for him, Ashton replied with screaming yes over a thousand times and flung right into the blonde's arms.

He remembers the cheering from everyone in the entire restaurant and the way Ashton was blushing and smiling brighter than ever during their dessert. 

Words couldn't describe the feelings of both of them that night and that's maybe why they ended up slowly having sex for hours to the tune of slow All Time Low songs, some Blink 182 , Green Day and even Ed Sheeran playing in the background while they sensually made love like they had never before.

Luke smiles, not only did Ashton grow up to the handsome 20 year old man he is now, he also grew up so much more confident and happy in life, the boy finished high school with ease and attended college to study music, one of the biggest passions in his life that they seemed to share.

Luke had watched Ashton change during the years, he was still smaller than Luke , thankfully, but he also had gotten into working out and Luke loved the feeling of Ashton's muscles against him , especially since Luke like's to be the little spoon and he loves having Ashton's muscular arm wrapped around him tightly.

Luke had been there at Ashton's graduation, Ashton had been there when Luke received an award for best new comer in the NHL. Ashton had also been at many hockey competitions and they had allot of fun when they both had time off from Hockey and college in the summer, leaving them to travel allot and explore the world.

Ashton knew he was quite lucky with Luke, not every one can travel the world with the loved one at only the age of twenty , Luke even told him not to go to college because he could fully support him financially and that way they had even more time together when Luke wasn't playing abroad.

But Ashton declined the offer , he wanted to go to college and get a degree, even if that meant that he would have less time for his lover. Even if it was amazing to travel the world ,Luke also got home sick allot , homesick to his own apartment where he knew Ashton was living alone with their 2 dogs.
