Bitches, don't fight with my locket in your hands!!!!!
I grit my teeth as I look over the crowd of kids fighting each other and throwing punches.
How the heck did this even happen?
After Shoto threw that move, people all burst out with their own opinions on the matter, each one fighting the one with an opposite opinion.
So here I am, standing in the middle of a corridor where kids are battling over whether I should kill myself or leave this school. If I'm a hero or a villain, and whether or not they should leave me alone.
People were using their quirks on others. And some people were just punching for the fun of life. Taking advantage of the fact that the heroes weren't around at the moment.
I pursed my lips as I moved past the school fight. The heroes can be here any second, I need to get my locket and run for it before that.
Shoto... where the heck did he go?
I looked around, noticing Ochako protecting Midoriya from a bunch of snobby bitches, and then there was Mina... I didn't see her before, she probably catched up after getting her phone. She was punching the shit out of the two who were spilling trash about me earlier today.
Omg. This is hilarious. I'll laugh about it after I get my locket back. SO MOVE.
My eyes immediately caught a glimpse of Shoto's soft and silky candy cane hair. I pushed myself away from the crowd, trying to get towards him. He stood in the far end awkwardly, trying to figure out if this thing was his fault.
"Where's my locket?" I ask, tilting my head to the side as I get my foot out of a random party string; someone's quirk.
Shoto doesn't answer me, staring at me with his usual plain expression. I let out a groan of annoyment, moving closer towards him.
"I don't have time, do you even know where the locket is?" I quickly spoke, pursuing my lips when I waited for his answer.
Oh yeah. When I tell you I got an answer. But not from Shoto.
As if on cue to our conversation something slid on the ground, hitting the soles of my shoes. My locket lay a few inches from my feet, it's shiny fake gold metal glistening because of the sunlight. Whilst the chain which held it together lay in 2 halves.
Two separate halves.
It broke.
My locket broke.
Shoto and I both stare at the locket in silence as it lay like a dead body seeking for attention. My lips quivered as my throat tightened causing my mouth to run dry.
No...
"Your birthday's soon right? That's why I saved up enough to get you this."
"Wha- for me!" I cried out, holding the locket in my hands as if it was a priceless gem. "You got this for me!!!!"
"Um... Yeah. It's not real gold-"
I cut him off by throwing my arms around his body, wrapping him up in a tight hug.
"Thank you... No one's ever given me anything like this." I mumble, burying my arms into his chest.
He sat there in silence, not so sure how to respond to my contact. He wasn't really close to anyone so touching wasn't his thing.
"YOU KNOW WHAT?!!" I suddenly gasped out, surprising him. "I'll put a picture of us inside it. That way it'll always remind me of you!"
I felt warm liquid run down my dry cheek as I stared down at the locket lying broken on the ground. My eyes wide from the shock of the situation. Everyone around me did not seem to notice.
