KACIE POV:
Niall stayed the rest of the day and we had sooo much fun. At first we just sat at home and Niall told us about what's been going on in his life and mom too. Niall asked me questions like: 'what grade are you in?' And 'Do you have any friends?' And 'do you play any sports?'. I answered them all honestly: in in 11th grade, I only have 3 friends, and I play soccer.
After about 2 hours we went out of the house to do something. 1st we went to a movie. It was tons of fun and I got to sit next to Niall. After that, we went go carting (Niall insisted). I even beat him at it but we were team players so we hugged in the end. After that, we went just to the neighborhood park because mom got tired of going every where with us. So it was just Niall and I. We went on the swings, we went down the slide, then we played on this spinny-thing there and we both flew clear off of it but it was still fun. I was so happy to have a big brother and that he even cared for me.
Eventually we went back home. It was about 3:00 so we'd been out of the house for a long time. The park was 7 blocks away from my house so it was quite far. When we got there, something was very wrong! My mother and father were on stretchers and were being lifted into an ambulance. I was scared to death!
"N-Niall w-what's going o-on?" I asked him.
"I-I have no idea. We better go find out." Niall said and we ran over there.
"Sorry kids, but this is a serious crime scene. No one is aloud in." The police man said.
"That's my mom and dad! What the hell happened?!" I said scared to death.
"We'll there was a shooting and fire here and your parents we both shot in the shoulders and there stomachs. We don't think they'll live." The police guy said calmly, but I was balling my eyes out. Why? Why mom and dad?
"Kacie, Kacie. relax everything is gonna be alright. Okay? Just please stand back up." Niall said.
"Okay." I said standing back up. I didn't know I sat down.
"Can we go see them before they die please? It would mean the world to us." Niall asked the police officer.
"Sure just please hurry." He said letting us through. We ran straight the ambulance and got in.
NIALL POV:
We got into the ambulance and I saw my mother and her husband. Kacie saw them too and took my open hand. They looked like they were just about to die.
"Niall, please.take.care.of.Kacie." My mother said which sent tears to flow down my face.
"Don't worry mom, I'll take good care of her. In fact, she can live with me if she wants." I said giving Kacie's hand a light squeeze. Poor, poor girl.
"Is.that.what.you.want.Kacie? To.live.with.Niall?" Her dad asked.
Kacie, still in tears, said,"Yes I want to live with Niall. He's my only family I have left."
"Good.girl.Kacie. Remember.I.Love. you.both.with.all.my.heart." Mom said at that she was gone.
"I.love.you." Her dad said then he was gone.
Kacie started crying even harder and I felt so bad for her. She shouldn't have to go through this at only 16. Poor poor girl.
We exited the ambulance as I was carrying her. We went over to the nearest police officer.
"Is there anyway she could go gather a few of her things before we leave?" I asked the kind lady.
"Yes but I'll have to go with her. You can come too." She said as we entered the house. So much was damaged or broken and I didn't want Kacie to see her house like this so I tried to keep her head down. When we got to her room, she walked in, grabbed sone of the clothes that weren't destroyed and a few clothes and the rest was ruined.
"Niall, can we go now? I wanna leave." She said with a few tears rolling down her face.
"Yes we can beautiful. Lets go." I said I hugging her and grabbing her small bag for her.
We walked back out of the house and out of the 'crime scene'. Kacir and I walked out to my car, me in the driver seat and her in the passenger.
KACIE POV:
Niall walked us to his car.
"Niall? Where are we going to be living?" I asked.
"Well I'm not sure. I'm gonna call the boys and ask them if we can live with them still." He saidsaid.
"Hey Niall, are we gonna be okay?" I asked.
"Absolutely beautiful. I'm gonna call the boys now."Niall said.
"Okay big bro." I said with a little ring to my voice. He shook his head a little bit and took at his phone.
