The next morning I woke up tangled in my bed sheets laying in a starfish position. It was a Friday and I had work today. I played on my phone for a while before taking a nice long shower and getting ready for my day. My outfit consisted off a white skirt (yanno the tumblr ones) a black crop top and a denim jacket. My hair was straight and my make up was how it normally was including my favorite Mac lipstick 'velvet teddy'.

After kissing my grandmother and my baby brother Charlie goodbye, I made my way to work which was at a coffee shop just around the corner to mine. When I arrived I was greeted by my boss Sue. She was a lovely lady. She was a close family friend and I always considered as an aunt. "Hello scarlet darling! you alright?" She asked greeting me with a warm welcoming hug.

"Hi sue, I'm good thanks" I said faking a smile to reassure I was fine. To be honest I wasn't fine, I was still upset from last night and I hadn't had much sleep. Sue knew the most about me out of everyone, she'd constantly worry about me and she'd always check up on me.

I put my name tag and apron on and made my way to behind the counter.
It was 10 minutes later and a couple of customers had came in. I was day dreaming for a while when my thoughts were interrupted by my phone buzzing in my bag.

No way, not happening! Parties are not my thing x

It's true i hate party's, i am socially retarded and it would pointless being on my own whilst everyone's drunk and high with people snogging and grinding on whoever is in their view.

I can't believe I agreed to go to this. You know what I'm just going to go straight in wait a while ( for liv's sake) and then straight out and fake being ill or something. My thoughts were interrupted by someone coughing to get my attention. My head shot up looking at the boy infront of me. My mouth opened slightly at the sight.
He was gorgeous, his arms were fairly hench, his hair was a luxurious shade of brown and his eyes were a dreamy hazel colour that you could get lost into to infinity. He was dressed in skinny jeans and a arctic monkeys shirt. The sound of arctic monkeys 'are u mine' echoed in the background as my focus was on this perfectly sculptured face.

"Wwhat ccan I gget" I paused " get you" I finally managed to get out. It bloody took a while due to my dam stutter. Yes I have a stutter, unless I'm proper close and comfortable with you. I closed my eyes in frustration, that I'm making a twat of myself infront of a cute boy. He realised my struggle, and gave me a reassuring smile as if to say 'it's okay'
"I'll have a hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows please" he said in his brummie accent, grabbing the Wallet out his back pocket. "Ththat'll bbbe £3.50" I said not keeping my eyes of him. He handed me the change and made his way to a table In the corner.

I started making his hot chocolate adding the whipped  cream and sprinkled marshmallows. once I was happy with the presentation, I picked it up and walked over to his table where he was looking down on his phone. Probably texting his girlfriend. I mean I assume he's got a girlfriend, he's a very good looking guy. Once he noticed my presence he looked up and gave me a smile, I smiled in return. As I began to walk away I felt his hand grab my wrist making me jump as they were gripping onto my scars. Lucky for me I covered them with a shit load of brackets. I turned around and faced the boy. " hey, i didn't get your name" he says realising his grip.
" Err ssscarlett" I say clearing my throat. He smiles and nods then takes a sip of the chocolate. "Mmm nice hot chocolate love, I'm brad, well bradley but everyone calls me brad" he says smiling nervously. "Than-k  you" I say smiling as He just smiles and nods.
I stand there awkwardly not knowing what to say just smiling until the silence is broken by his phone ringing. I guess that's my cue to leave so I began walking back to the till.

I stood there running through what just happened smiling to myself, I then realised I'm Probably going to never see him again, unless it's in a shop when walking down an isle or maybe even cross each other's path at the park. Plus he probably has a girlfriend so I don't understand why I was so happy about meeting this "brad" guy.
