-lmsI smile brightly. At last, Tina-Sensei decided to bring me to the city again. She rarely lets me come. Today, she plans to go to a nearby hidden village. We work today and our line of work is especially fun. I don't have too many skills, mainly because I'm young, and Tina-Sensei doesn't like to train me, but I plan to give it my all and hopefully give her a reason to take me again.
We move quick and silent through the trees. Normally, I'd laugh as we danced across tree limbs, but Sensei has little patience and even less tolerance, especially when it comes to me, so laughter is foreign since traveling with her. My sensei is super cool, and while she seems emotionless, I know she cares for me, just as much as I care about her.
"I hear voices, Ava." I nod and channel out my chakra, evening and leveling until only a trace remains. Only a very advanced ninja would be able to sense mine. And I'm positive that no one can sense Tina-sensei's! She's absolutely amazing—practically the best ninja ever!
"Go around behind them and make sure your chakra is not easily detected. I will call for you if we need to fight. If it gets too intense, we will retreat. Understand?" I nod enthusiastically.
"Yes, sensei!" I do as she says and find myself opposite my sensei. In between us are two people, one is a man with white gravity-defying hair and a green vest. Is that important? Does it mean something? The other one is a boy it seems, with hair that flips up in the back like the bow of a ship. So silly! Who would want their hair to do that? He wears white and blue, with cute little ninja sandals. He's actually kind of cute, but that look in his eye is... disturbing. Off.
I glance at Tina-sensei, and she nods to me. Smiling, I unsheathe my lucky kunai. Let's hope they give in. I'd hate to see that boy's boat head get cut off.
"You're surrounded. Give us any money or valuables you may have, and we will spare you." Tina-sensei says, a cold look in her eyes. The boy looks surprised, but the man... he seems like he was waiting for this. He knows I'm here and now knows she's there because of her voice.
He knows of our presence. Assuming he knows of Tina-Sensei's presence via chakra, he'd probably assume that he isn't actually surrounded.
"And why would we do that?" I look at Tina-sensei in surprise and shock. The man isn't scared, isn't frightened, not at all. No, his eye glitters in excitement. I shake my head at her, trying to get her to forget about it, just leave them here and find a high priority cart, but her eyes shine with interest. I sigh sadly. This will probably be the last time she lets me come with her, based on how things are progressing. A fight was bound to begin, and the winds didn't blow in my direction.
"It would be wise," She says. I still think we should go. I didn't know his skill level in the slightest, so either he was overconfident or sure of himself, and both inconvenienced us. And Tina-sensei preys on the weak. When encountering a particularly tough enemy, she usually retreats. So why haven't we? What hidden motive could she possibly possess?
"Why don't you come down here and fight me?" The white-haired man's voice is swamped in curiosity and amusement. I'd probably look amused too, if I knew I could beat him. I sigh. The only match I could possibly win is with little boy Psycho over there, and it appears that fight would be a difficult one to win.

"I think I just might..." I hear her whisper. She jumps down and I protest silently. She made it clear I'd make no noise. I want to help... but... do I go against my orders?
