Two days, three hours, fourty-eight minutes and seven seconds.

The search has been going on for just about that, and there was still no trace of her. None at all. It was either Castella was good at hiding, or they were searching in the wrong place on the wrong time. They should have gotten at least a clue by now.

The files lead him here, in an abandoned cathedral located at the north of Xeraph. Locals said they've been seeing a strange figure lurking here. It was possible that she's been right here, in this very spot. No, they were actually in the right space, just the wrong time.

"She's been here," the man would say to his companions in a deep, cold voice. "I can feel it."

The place was just the embodiment of abandoned. Vacate, empty and downright creepy. Cobwebs were everywhere and he swore he saw a family of rats residing just around the corner. He would walk around the aisles, scanning the architecture. It must have been considered a beauty eons ago; how unfortunate that it was left to rot.

He would come across a narrow section filled with portraits and statues of saints. Some were broken and shattered into pieces. Walls were battered with slashes and drops of blood were evident on the ground.

Slowly, the male would kneel down and wipe the blood with his right thumb. He would bring it close to his nose and inhale the scent. It was hers, he was sure of it. Castella had a breakdown here, hence the smashed decorations and detached ornaments. Immediately, he stood up and wiped the crimson liquid off using a clean napkin.

He would call the attention of his team, telling them to come over with a swift gesture of his left hand. "Looks like we've got an indication." The man would look up and stared at the high ceilings of the church. His associates would gather the blood in a small container for future needs.

"My Lord," a squire scurried to his side, kneeling down in front of him. "Should we exit already?"

"Of course," he answered shortly, "make sure that the blood gets to the research facility immediately. I want it done by five hours. The sooner, the better."

The man nodded and walked away from the group, a smirk plastered on his lips.
"I'm sure I'll get her."
