Autumn Watcher sat on the Hill, her coat of white shinning like the stars above her. Only the skywatchers sat there. Being a skywatcher meant looking for signs of any messages from Moon, their guardian ancestor. As such, she knew too well that Moon had given them a message, an omen. Tonight Moon was at her fullest, and Autumn Watcher knew that she was alert and ready for anything. She was telling her people that something terrible was in their future, although Autumn Watcher was unsure of what it was. "O Great Moon, guardian of our people." Autumn Watcher said to the white silhouette of a wolf that stood in front of her. "Something is going to happen. Something terrible." The wolf nodded. Then the wolf looked at the sky as a darkness covered it. "Eclipse." Autumn Watcher whispered, remembering the stories of the black wolf. All he wanted was to destroy Moon, and take her place. Moon turned back to Autumn Watcher, and started speaking, her voice a myriad of others,

Three wolves shall come together,

One comes with Light,

One comes with Love,

And I come through the third,

To bring peace to the Pack,

To find the Cats,

And to finish my work,

Beware the Betrayer,

Beware the rogues,

Fury, Fire, Storm, and Death,

The sky is dark,

The First will light the path,

The path is blocked by Evil,

The Second will teach Evil to love,

And I, Moon, will become another,

And remain another

Autumn Watcher watched the wolf vanish, and Moon's light got brighter for a second, as if to drive away the darkness of Eclipse. As Moon went back to her normal brightness, Autumn Watcher thought the prophecy which she had just heard. I'll talk to Deer. She thought. She got up and climbed down from the rocky Hill, which her den just happened to be under.

She kept mulling it through her head, seeing if she could figure out the meaning of the mysterious words. She walked into the leader's den, where she found Deer, his glossy brown coat giving off a shimmering effect. "Deer." She started, and he turned around, his bright amber eyes meeting her green ones. "What is it?" She stuttered for a second, "It- It's Moon. I- Something's going to happen." His eyes widened. He then walked up to her, his size making the young female seem to shrink. "Are you aware of any new cubs?" The Skywatcher asked, trembling. "River Stone just had cubs." The alpha male responded. "Then let us head to the nests."

Once at the nests, the two wolves walked up to the grassy bed where they heard the squeaking of cubs. A silver female was nuzzling two small cubs, both looking very similar. "Are they duals?" Autumn Watcher asked the female, River Stone. She nodded, her brown eyes never leaving her new cubs. "What are you going to name them?" Deer asked his mate, walking up to his new daughters. "I was thinking Stone for the bigger of the two." The Skywatcher nodded, seeing as its pelt was lighter in shade. "But I'm uncertain about the other one. What do you think?" Deer looked at the smaller of the cubs. She already had her eyes open, and was crawling around. He looked outside and an idea occurred to him. "What about Snow?" He suggested. The alpha female sighed and gently nosed the young wolf back into the grassy bed, "Snow. Little Snow. I like it." Autumn Watcher looked at the small female. "Snow." was the only word that came out of her mouth, for she was lost in thought. The young cub looked up at her with beautiful silver eyes for a moment, then they changed to amber. But there was no question to Autumn Watcher. She was the one.
