(Ganguly mansion)

Sunlight, sharp and unforgiving, rakes across the marble floors of the Ganguly mansion, illuminating dust motes dancing in the morning air

Inside the mansion

Harshit Ganguly sat in one of the couch like he looked like he's carved from marble himself, lounged on a plush velvet sofa, a half-empty teacup balanced precariously on his knee

His dark eyes, a shade too keen for casual observation, tracked a housemaid as she glided through the ornate hallway, a silent ballet of servitude

He was home, finally, after four years of intellectual conquest abroad, a freshly minted Ivy League degree clutched in his metaphorical hand

The air, rich with the scent of old money and power, felt familiar, almost comforting, yet a restless energy thrummed beneath his perfectly tailored suit.

A door swished open, and Sourav Ganguly, his Baba, strode into the living room, his presence immediately filling the vast space

The aura of command that clung to him was palpable, a force of nature refined over decades of ruthless dominion

Rahul Dravid, followed close behind, a softer, warmer presence compared to sourav, he was excited happy beyond imagination as his baby boy was home after 4 years

"Harshit," Sourav's voice, a low rumble, cut through the quiet "You're finally back"

Harshit offered a lazy, sardonic smile at his father "Did you miss me, Baba? Or just my potential to cause chaos?"
He asked grinning

Rahul dravid chuckled, a soft, melodic sound that harshit missed deeply " Ofc We missed you, beta. The house felt too quiet without your... vibrant energy." He sat beside Harshit, placing a hand on his shoulder, a gesture of affection that Harshit allowed without flinching he softened slightly at his paa's words

"Vibrant energy," Harshit scoffed, a glint in his eye "Is that what you call it, Paa? I thought it was 'the bane of your existence." He asked

Sourav settled into a high-backed armchair, his gaze piercing. "Enough pleasantries you menace. We have matters to discuss. Important matters."

Harshit's smile didn't falter hearing it "Oh, I know. The throne, the crown, the scepter. Is it time for my coronation already?" He asked grinning like a menace

"It's time for you to take your rightful place," Sourav corrected rolling his eyes at his menace of a son, his voice devoid of humor. "The Ganguly Enterprise. The legal empire. It's yours now."

Harshit raised an eyebrow, a flicker of genuine interest in his eyes as asked "So soon? I thought I'd have a few more years to perfect my 'vibrant energy' before being chained to a desk."

"You've proven yourself capable harsh. Top of your class. You navigate the cutthroat world of academia with ease. The business world is no different," Sourav stated, his conviction absolute "You're ready."
