The sun was shining, I could hear the waves crashing, seagulls were everywhere.

BANG!!! "Omg, I'm so sorry Sandy!" Sandy, the 67 year old woman that works a part-time job here at Sunrise Grill. She loves to tell jokes, but they are not very good. "Oh it's quite all right dear, at least it wasn't me that broke." I laughed. "Lauren, by the way can you cover my other table?" called out Mary from behind the register. I'm Lauren, I'm just 19 and i've learned to fend for myself. I'm broke and hungry, my parents kicked me out of the house at 14 years old. My grandmother took care of me for a while after that, but shortly passed away after I moved in. The landlord told me if I could pay the bill for the house I could keep it, but I had nothing to my name. So the house was sold to someone else who could pay for it. I was 16 when that happened and the landlord knew I was all alone, so he called the police and saw if I could of been put in a foster home. They said by the time your 15 your allowed to be let go by your parents, your enough of an adult...I thought differently. I just needed to get away from my hometown I can't keep the images and flashbacks of what happened in my childhood and to me when I was in relationships in my head. I needed to leave all that behind. So I took a bus, I didn't know where I was going or what I was going to do once I got there, but I just knew anywhere was better than there.

This is my first official chapter. Please leave reviews and comments on what I could work on and what is perfect. Thanks and God Bless You!~ Faith
