Blanket Fort

Rob's POV

I was walking down the hall when I heard giggling coming from Matt's room. I opened the door and saw Matt using clothes pins to hold a bunch of blankets together. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Blanket fort." Matt simply responded, putting the blankets on various raised surfaces, like his bed and his dresser. Matt said it was ready, and they all crawled in like they were crawling through air vents, then they put a pillow in front of the entrance. I got on my hands and knees and stood in front of the 'door'. "Can I come in?" I asked. "Waz the password?" Preston asked. "How about 'If you let me in, I'll give you a cookie'?" I asked. "Okay, come in." Preston said, pulling the pillow out of the way, and putting it back once I crawled in. I looked around the small space and saw that what would be a dark tent was dimly lit up by Preston's Scooby-Doo night light. I saw the kids' stuffed animals in a small space in their fort. Matt had his cell phone in a plastic cup, playing nursery rhymes for the kids. "Nice job Matt, how long did it take for you to make this?" I asked. "About 3 hours, Preston kept jumping on the blanket roof." Matt replied. I saw little Vikky and Lachlan cuddling by Matt's phone, Mitch was admiring the Scooby-Doo night light, and Preston was playing with his stuffed Cactus. I love how Matt can get them to calm down so fast.
