Prologue:
"Does life even matter anymore?" Anne thought to herself as she ran up the stairs of her house. She knew her parents wouldn't be able to take the fact that she was gone, but she couldn't stand the hate, the bullying, everything.
Anne's parents weren't home. Nor were her younger brother and sister. They would be gone for at least another hour, so Anne knew she couldn't play around. She raced into her dark room and slammed the door shut as she fell to the ground an began to sob uncontrollably. She slowly reached her arm out and grabbed onto a broken frame that held a picture of Anne's family, except one person.. Her dad. Instead of her dad was her mother's new husband, Frank, in the picture. Anne hated Frank.
Anne threw the picture forcefully in disgust as she watched it hit the ground hard and crack even more. She couldn't believe her mother would move on that fast.. Especially since what happened to her father.. She shook the hate for her mother at that moment away and glanced up, looking into the mirror.
Her long brown hair was tangled and all messed up, her eyes were covered in dark black mascara and eyeliner that was smeared down her cheeks from her rubbing them over and over. The sleeves of her white shirt weren't white. They were red with blood. The razor was her addiction. Cutting was her life.
All the pain and hate would soon end. She wouldn't have to worry about what to wear anymore or about damaging her face and body from makeup and tanning beds all for just some guy who would probably never like her anyway..
Anne crawled over to her window and looked out it. She gripped her hands onto it and slid it open then stepped out onto the roof. Ahead, was the city where people seemed to always be happy and having fun, but she knew that that wasn't what was planned for her. She was born to die. It was almost like the whole world wanted her to do this, to jump. She knew she was worthless. It was like she wasn't even supposed to exist, but she did and she was going to change that.
Her entire body was shaking as she slowly inched closer to the edge, but she wasn't scared. She wasn't scared of dying, for this was her destiny. It was supposed to happen. She was born to die. She didn't even look down.. All she did was take the final step of her life..
CHAPTER ONE.
When she woke up she was instantly blinded by a bright light. After a few moments of getting used to it her eyes adjusted to the light, and she saw her mother, her brother, her sister, and the horrible Frank standing at the end of the bed.
"Is sissy okay?" She heard her brother ask, but he never got an answer, because Anne was not okay. Anne had almost died.
The bright light was still shining brightly in her eyes and burning them, but not as much as before. She tried to sit up, but it was as if she was dead, but she was alive. Her arms, legs, back, neck, and everything else was stuck frozen, and all she could hear was the terrible buzzing noise.
