jimin awoke to the delicate touch of his arm being traced up and down. it sent a slight chill down his spine but he didn't mind.

he felt himself pressed back against a firm, warm chest. he smiled to himself before turning around to face the other.

"g'mornin," jimin muttered under his breath as he hid his face into the man's chest.

jungkook kissed the top of his head, getting to smell the familiar scent of his shampoo. it tickled.

"morning," jungkook whispered. it was silent after that. warm moments like this were jungkook's favorite. little to no exchange of words. just embracing each other. it was... intimate.

the only sound was their low breathing.

jungkook let his fingertips dance on jimin's back, feeling the softness of his skin under his touch.

it was moments like this where jimin felt the most safe. most comfortable.

just the two of them. embracing each other, legs tangled under the covers. skin to skin.
