Alright, hello to my piggie army members, anyway this chapter is finally out. I know that I took forever to write this and I'm really sorry. This is also the last character introduction chapter. Now as always please comment, vote, and enjoy.
No one's
In an old abandoned shack, at the very edge Wonderland, a girl, or rather a monster, sat next to a small pool of water. She was waiting, as she did every Monday since he was taken away. As she waited one small shred of hope embedded itself in her head.
"Maybe he won't come, maybe you'll be free of his orders for a day," it said. The girl tried to push away this shred of hope, for she knew that it was useless, but it stayed calling out from the back of her head. After three hours of waiting (it was now 7am ) she finally gave in to her hope and stood up to leave. This proved to be a mistake.
Jailleen's POV
"Leaving ssssssssso sssssssssoon dearessssst," a snake like voice said from the pool behind me. Why did I have to hope? Of course he would come, he always comes. Now he'll be angry."I'm very disssssssappointed in you. I don't like it when people walk out on me. " I close my eyes readying myself for the inevitable. There it was, a burning starting on my back where my father placed his mark. You see my father is someone of great power, or he was until he was sent to the Isle of the Lost. But my father, being a wonderlandian was able to somehow keep two of his powers. The first is that every week he was able to cast his image into the small pool resting on Wonderland's border. The second power allows him to cause a terrible burning sensation to all he has scratched. ( he scratched all the original wonderlandians and I ) Oh, and since the barrier around the Isle was broken for a short time he has also been able to force thoughts into the minds of everyone he was able to scratch.
Suddenly the terrible burning sensation subsided. "Sssssso, have you been going to sssssssschool darling?" My father suddenly asked. Wait, did he just imply that he actually cared about my education? Well, that's new.
"Yes father," I said without hesitation. Hesitation leads to punishment.
"Good, then all the necesssssssary arrangementssss have been made. All you have to do isssss be there when the prophecy comesssss true," my father said
"Yes father," I repeated, but I couldn't help wondering how the prophecy could possibly come true. One of the things required was ... well let us just say that it was almost impossible to actually accomplish.
"One more thing, fill the water bottle I told you to bring with water from thisssssss pool," my father then suddenly broke into a fit of crazed laughter ,"Thissssss will be ssssssssssso fun. That issssssss if you don't fail me Jailleen."
"I won't, " was all I said as I glanced back one more time at the face of my father.
THE JABBERWOCK
