couple counseling || minsung [HIATUS]

hi there everyone.

IM SORRY, I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN ON HIATUS FOR LIKE TWO YEARS, BUT I PROMISE I’LL CONTINUE THIS LATER. I’ve been a bit busy with exams and all that fun stuff. High school will be ending in a few months, and I will get back to writing properly then.

I also have a LOT of other fanfictions waiting for their turn in the basement. I had three Minsung fanfictions and one Jeongchan fanfic sitting in my drafts since 2022, around the same time I started drafting this one too. And yes, I do love Couple Counseling, but I really want to rewrite it. I reread it recently and genuinely felt my soul leaving my body while wondering how I even published it in the first place.

Right, so the point is: for now, despite being very busy with university applications and school exams, I WILL be continuing to write Minsung fanfictions regularly. Expect WEEKLY UPDATES from now on.
As for Couple Counseling, I’ll be rewriting it and republishing it around June.

This is also one of the plots I started drafting around the same time as Couple Counseling. The difference is that Couple Counseling was inspired by a writing prompt I saw years ago and immediately thought, “Oh my god, that is SO Minsung,” and wrote it down in my notebook (the good old-fashioned way).
Bachelors Not Allowed, on the other hand, was previously titled Tenants. I had only written the intro back then, which I’ve changed now. It was inspired by pure insanity and 3 a.m. thoughts, which somehow turned into… this.

I’ve also pre-written seven chapters, and I’m working on more so I don’t panic when I have to publish weekly. It will be cross-posted on AO3 as well. The writing style is similar, but the side ships aren’t the ones I usually write. There’s no Seungjin or Changlix this time, since I wanted to experiment with different ship dynamics.

That said, the plot itself is something to look out for. I genuinely believe it’s an amazing one and will keep you intrigued as you try to uncover the truth. The side ships aren’t the main focus anyway, so I really hope you’ll at least check it out.

Lastly, I once again PROMISE to rewrite and republish Couple Counseling by June. There are so many other stories I want to write too, including this one, so please wait for me.
