      Blue eyes, that’s all I could see. My palm lay on the moist grass as the moon shone through the trees. I lie on my back looking up at the darkened sky and wonder what it would be like to be up there; shining amongst the stars, nearing the havens and seeing earth from above. Everything around me was blue from the moon light, but somehow I could see the green of tall grass swaying in the wind. I could see the daises as they lay in patches scattered through the field; and I could see him standing in the distance.

      Everything about him made me stare in awe; his soft, wavy brown hair that hung above his eyes, his perfectly sculpted face, the way his lips curled up in a smirk when he got in trouble, and most of all his eyes. He was standing more than twenty feet from me but, all I could see was the ocean blue colour that matched the moon so perfectly in his eyes. He captured my attention and, as my heart pounded harder, I couldn’t breathe. My head started to get light and my eyes doze off to the back of my head; my hands slipped out from under me and for a second my back and head were air born collapsing towards the smooth ground.

     As I lay on my back I hear the soft sound of rain drops falling to the leaves and bushes surrounding me, I also hear the crunching of footsteps gathering near me. I can’t move or open my eyes; all I can do is hear what’s happening around me. I feel something gentle brush against my cheek, the touch wasn’t affectionate but, only to see if I was awake. I wasn’t scared and for a moment I didn’t even think about whom or what it was that touched my cheek. I could feel it burning in the back of my mind; one name Tray Evans…
