It hesitated a moment just looking at me; I thought I saw something in her eyes, something other than darkness. But just like that it was gone and the girl looked even more wild now. She let out a long screech as if it was a warning sign. Cautiously I took a small step back, trying not to draw attention to the fact I was trying to get away. "Look, um I dont mean any harm... Just let me go and I'll forget this ever happened." I said that with a small unsure smile; why the hell did I always get brought into situations like this? Instead of saying something she crept forward a small step. I didn't wait another second,  I was off and bolting through the place I had come. Ducking and jumping or branches I couldn't tell if she was behind me or not.

By this point I could almost make out my house in the distant, I was so close I thouht to myself. Just as I was passing the tree line a solid object was flying into my side knocking me off my feet. I tumbled to the ground, laying on my back I looked up to see the demented girl hanging over me. This time I didn't hold back, letting out a scream as loud as I could I flung myhands out infront of me. Instead of punching I normall would have used my powers but, I've been working too much lately and my powers seemed to be draining. Then it hit me, the missing page, coming out here in the middle of no where and Ashley draining my powers from working me too hard. Every single detail being added up made me realise that maybe Ashley was the bad one; after all she was no where to be seen right now.

My mind was racing and my heart was pounding, this girl did not want to go down without a fight. I managed to get her off of me and finially got to my feet; facing her I let out a small battle cry and charged not giving her time to think. I rammed into as hard as I could, I could have sworn I heard a bone breaking as I did so. The girl latched onto my arm taking me with her as we flew into the tree; luckily the girl had more damage done to her than I did. Just as I was about to slam her into the tree again a throbbing pain came to my head. I dropped to the ground in front of her grabbing my head and pushing trying to make it stop. The pain was growing stronger and stronger, I let out a strangled cry as I felt warm liquid spewing out of my mouth; blood.

With every cough the pain just grew worse. Now grasping my stomach I was curled in a ball unsure if the girl was there or not. Just as I thought the pain was going away another shot to my head happened and I all but blacked out. Laying on my back looking up at the trees above I could just faintly make out the colour of the sky. It was still day time here, the sky was a stunning blue with no clouds in sight. I slowly felt myself drifting away, trying to fight it as hard as possible I could only keep my eyes open for seconds at a time. Something grasped onto me and I all but stopped breathing. My vision had become white and I finially thought it was over; Finially I wouldn't feel the pain anymore. I was dead.

White. It was all around me. Every way I turned my head all I could see was white, no blackness not even any shadows. My hands started trembling; bringing my knees up against myself to calm down I slowly started counting. I dont know why but it just seemed like it would help. "...97, 98, 99, 100" I let out a slow breath and stood to my feet. Turning in slow circles I noticed that the room was rounded. Somewhere around here there had to be a door. I finially decided to run to the wall and feel with my hands. Running my fingers over the curved room I felt a little dent in on the side.

I stopped dead in my tracks; this was it. I started from the ground and traced over top of the dent the whole way around the door. I noticed that there was no handle and I started panicking , "Come on Vera, you can do this." I heard the noise thinking I had said that at first. Jumping slightly at the thought I looked around the room, there was now a tiny speaker at the top of the dome hanging from the ceiling. Confusion swept over my face. Vera... Who is Vera? I am Ashlyn... aren't I? Scrunching up my eyebrows and scowling a little I realised I had forgot what I was just thinking about. Turning back to face the door I had a strong urge to run my hand in a circle on the door then push in the middle of it. After I did this I heard a clicking noise. Stumbling back I realised that the door was now unlocking it's self and slowly drifting open. I waited until the door was fully open and stopped moving. Peaking my head out I looked both ways before deciding to go.

I stumbled my way down the hallways.  Everything just seemed to be the same; blank. The whitness around me felt never ending; above me the lights were quietly humming. My head slowly started to spin and I stumbled to the wall. Regaining my balance I continued walking not knowing where I was going. My heart quickened with each corner I turned. Opening every door I spotted I still couldn't seen to find a way out of here. My hands strted shaking violently at my side; what if I couldnt get out, would I die? Just then I heard noises, stoping and bending down on my knees I peaked around the corner. Trying to make myself look small so they wouldn't see me I noticed it was two men. They were older with grey hair and round faces. Both of them wore matching outfits; each had on brown straight legged dress pants, pale blue button shirt with a colar and over top of that a white coat like a doctors. I tried leaning forward trying to hear them better but it didnt work. My heart froze. They had began walking slowly towards me and I didn't realise it.

Not only had I made the mistake of not watching them, I always didn't notice the fact that I wasn't behind the wall anymore but instead out in the open. Widening my eyes I shook myself a little as one of the lept at me. Turning quickly and dodgeing the attack I sprinted down the hall way oposite of me. I heard screams echoing behind me, in seconds there were red flasing lights every where. I had set off the alarm, great I thought sourly.  A humming sound appeared above my head. Looking up I noticed there was a little vent stationed in the corner or the roof. Slowly dripping out of it was a thick fog. A gs to knock me out obviously. I pulled the collar of my shirt up over my mouth and nose and tried to steer myself away from any vent. I was about to round the corner when I noticed a light being seen through the  bottom of the door. I thought that it must be important becasue every othere door I had seen was black under it. I inched my way closer to the door, feeling a sudden need to rip the door open, I tugged lightly on the handle to checl if it was locked. Click. The door edge slowly open. Shock. That was the first thing to cross my mind.

My eyes filled with tears at the sight infront of me. I couldn't move, I couldn't do anything. My mouth had fallen open as I stare in shock. Not registering anything about what else was around me I stumbled to the middle of the room. Hate. Anger. Apoplectic. These were all the feelsing that arose in my heart. Never in my life time have I ever wanted to murder someone but now, I was all for it. No one was going to get in my way; they'd have to kill me to stop me now. My whole body was shaking as I took it all in. Glancing at the wall infront of me again, I was going to remember this and I was going to get pay back. Cursin to myself; my family was now dead becasue of me. Strung up on the wall with chains wrapped around them sharp objects digging into their skin. There flesh was a sickening pale and had blood smeared everyway from their head to toe. A single tear slipped down my face, I turned quickly and ran. Ran until I was free....
