Chapter-25

Manik and nandini enter the house!

Manik to a servant: where is dad?

Servant: mein bularahi  hoon unhe aap bethiyen

The servant leads them to the drawing room!

Nandini and manik were sitting when manik's dad entered!

Nandini looked at him and the face was very similar! It was none other then nandini's favourite uncle! Her best-friend as she used to call him!

Nandini stood up immediately

Nandini shouting: dev uncle! Aap

Dev malhotra: nandini? Chotu sa nandini! Oh my god!

Nandini ran towards him and greeted him touching his feet and hugged!

Dev malhotra: ohh mera bacha! Kitne dino baad! Mene tumhe contact karne ki koshish kiyi! Amma ko phone bhi kiya but no response

Nandini: dev uncle lagta hain number change hogaya hain abhi

Manik just stood there being shocked

Manik walks towards them: kya ho raha hain?

Dev malhotra: arehh beta! Ye toh meri chulbuli si bachi nandini hain! Mein uske appa ka..

He pauses

Nandini: its okay dev uncle! Appa ka sache dost the aap! Appa apko bohot respect karte the

Dev malhotra: (smiling) tum ekdam waisi hi ho nandini! Missed u beta! Life became so lonely tum kab chale aayee kuch bhi bata nehi chala

Nandini: haan uncle! But dekho mein meri bestfriend se ekbar phir milgayi

Dev looking at manik: soo ! You chose my bestfriend for youself haan?

Manik smiles: still in shock dad

Dev laughs!

He steps forward to manik and tapping his shoulder says: couldnt have made me prouder son! You got a gem! And thats nandini! She is  truly a gem

Manik: i know dad! (Looking at nandini) she surely is! She is my star

Nandini smiles and blushes

Dev: we have so much to catch up on nandu! Chalo lunch karte hain or baat karte hain

Nandini tells manik's father about everything that happened but in short! And the same from dev malhotra! They enjoy a wonderful lunch and manik's happiness was out of limits! The two most important person's of his life were so close to each other! What else did he need 

Dev: acha so! Chalo aab mudde pe ate hain! Toh nandu my son here is crazily in love with you and wants to marry you?

Manik smiles and nandini blushes with a smile

Dev: toh nandini! Amma kaha hain?

Nandini: woh sab toh mangalore...

Dev: u know what nandini? I would love to go! Chalo na jaate hain ekdin hum sab?

Manik (excited): haan dad! Chacha chachi bhi wahi hain lets give them a surprise what say nandini?

Nandini(shocked and smiling) : haan sure! Lekin kab or kese? Ghar mein baki saab?

Manik: they will go humare saath ofcourse! Woh dad humare friends..

Dev: haan toh koi baat neh! Mein ek bus book karti hoon hum sab saath chalenge! Cant wait to meet amma and chotu

Manik: chotu? Rishabh?

Dev smiling: areh nehi! Nandu ka chacha! Waise rishabh kitna bara hogaya hoga na?

Nandini smiles

Manik: dad tum or nandini ke appa bachpan ka dost ho? Mujhe kabhi bola nehi....
Then manik remembers how much less time he spent with his dad

Manik's father: its okay beta! Aaj bohot he khushi ka din hain lets not spoil it

Nandini smiles at manik

After they were done with the lunch

They all go to the living room!

Dev: waise nandu u know na mein kitni cool type dad hoon? (Smiling)

Nandini: haan ofcourse! Ekdam cool! Aap toh humse bhi jawan dikhti ho

They all laugh!

The talking session ended at around 6 pm and nandini and manik left after hugging dev malhotra!

They decided that they would leave for mangalore day after tomorrow before chachi and chacha came back...
