It's Complicated

Danielle's POV

"Come on we have to go" Brie said picking up her keys along with her suitcase.

I groaned but got up without a word and grabbed my stuff following her out of our hotel room. Once we got to the main lobby she had to wait in line to check out. I was looking down at my phone when I heard voices that I recognized. I looked up to see Colby, Jon and Joe. Jon looked at me and I walked up to Brie tapping her on her shoulder.

"What's up?" she asked me.

"Can I please get the keys so I can go to the car?" I didn't look back I could bare to see his face right now.

She looked at me confused and then looked behind me to see the guys. She took the keys out of her purse and gave them to me willingly.

"Thanks"

Before I could walk away someone stood in front of me blocking my way to the door. I looked up to see Joe.

"Avoiding us now Danielle?' he looked kinda hurt and I felt bad. I wasn't avoiding them I was avoiding Jonathan.

"Not you" I said "it is complicated."

He let go of my wrist and said "well remember you still have us even Jonathan if you need anything."

"Thanks Joe" He moved out of the way so I walked out before Colby or Jon decided they wanted to stop me too.

Brie's POV

"What happened?" I turned to ask Jonathan.

"I thought she was Renee and she got upset. She didn't even want to tell me how she was feeling because it was not going to change anything. She also said that Renee would be there to ruin everything" he looked so stressed and upset. I instantly felt bad for him.

"Do you miss her?"

"Even though it hasn't been that long yes" he said.

"I will try to see what is up with her but she is very difficult. She likes to keep her feelings to herself" After I checked out I was gonna walk away when Jonathan stopped me.

"Brie when you do can you please tell me?"

"I will."

Once I got into the car Danielle looked at me and then looked away. She was too busy listening to music. Just by looking at her you can tell that she is out of it. When we got to the arena she grabbed her bag and waited for me so we can walk in together. Not saying a word she went one way and I went to go and find Bryan. I saw him sitting down at a table at catering talking to John Cena. I walked over to them and sat down on Bryan's lap.

"Hey John" I said.

"Hey Brie how are you?" he asked me.

"I could be doing better but I am alright" I said "how about you?"

"I am good thanks for asking" he said while getting up "I have to go I will talk to you later Bryan."

"Okay"

"Bryan we have a problem" I said as soon as John walked away.

"What happened?" he asked.

"I think Danielle shut down again." I sighed I thought that being around Jonathan was gonna help her open up. But I guess not.

"I know thats because she saw Renee kissing Jonathan"

"What" I didn't know that happened and here I was feeling bad for him earlier when he hurt her.

"Yeah" he said.

"But I also thinks she doesn't want to admit to Jonathan that she has feelings for him."

He nodded his head agreeing with me.

"What should we do?" I asked him.

"As of right now give her time she still has to deal with Jonathan because they are about to get into their love storyline" he smiled.

"Alright"

Danielle's POV

I received my script as to what Jonathan and I are going to be doing tonight and mainly it is just a segment. All we are doing is flirting with each other. I wasn't happy about it but I will deal with it. I got changed into a better outfit and waited until they call me to do it. Paige walks in and sets her stuff down.

"Danielle what is wrong" she asks while she sits down right next to me.

"Nothing why?"

"Because I can just tell by the look on your face."

"It just complicated" I wasn't in the mood for people to keep asking me what's wrong. I just didn't want to talk to anyone at the moment.

"Come on and tell me maybe I can help you."

I was about to say something when Paige interrupts me.

"I know what we can do when we get to the next city we can have a girls sleepover me you and brie and whoever else you trust so we can talk about this okay" she said to me.

"Yeah that sounds really good." I smiled.

Someone knocked on the door. I looked up to see a tech guy. He looked straight at me.

"Danielle you are on in five"

"Coming" I got up feeling a little better.

Maybe that's what I needed a girls day. I waved bye to Paige and walked out of the room and made my way to where we will be filming our segment.
