I spported sapphire, who was now limping, and bleeding heavily from her paw. We had moved forward into heat-place (canyon) we all stoped to get a drink at the stream that ran through the heat-place.
When we started to walk again, sapphire collapsed from blood loss. "Sapphire!" I yelled as I shook her body "we're ready to leave, come on" my mother said and motioned with her tail to join her. "You're just going to leave her! Father would of stayed with us!" I spat. I saw her eyes fill with grief, rage and with out another word she turned and caught up with the group, I turned my head away when just saw her give one last look of begging towards us. I looked down at Sapphire and dragged her by the scruff to a shady spot, near the stream. I laid her down in a position that could see the bite wound. I sat down and started to licked the bite clean. I shuddered at the taste of her blood and dust, after I finished cleaning, I heard a sound, I looked up and listened I could hear the echo of footsteps bouncing off the walls of the canyon. I crept closer approaching us was a big black, male wolf with Amber eyes. I puffed my fur to make myself look bigger, and stepped out of the shadows. I saw his fur puff out on end without waiting for to introduce him self i started "Hi my named is Feather my sister Sapphire is very hurt can you help us." I watched as his fur flattened, but I could still we he was on end. "And why would I help you" he said his voice was tough and confident. " Because that means you have our dept and loyalty." I said back with a step forward. "He narrowed his eyes at me and finally said "fine."
