I awake to a warm man holding me. My father. I twitch a little, I don't know why though. It seemed like I couldn't live without twitching. I look over at my mother. 

"My turn, Toby." She giggles. He hands me over to her. I look at her clock eye. I have the same clock eye as her, but I have my dad's brown eye. I hear a faint ticking noise coming from her, but I feel warmth radiating off her. I touch her neck and her life flashes before my eyes. She looks puzzled, but shakes it off. I look towards my father and hold my hands out towards him. "I think he wants you, Toby." My mother says and hands me over to my father. I touch his neck and his life flashes before my eyes. Just then, a tall man with no face walks into the room. 

Child, I have some news for you. Your child's DNA patterns show he can see people's lives at the touch of their neck.

The man turns his head towards me. I look away. He knows.
