Rebellious

Prologue

A girl ran desperately through the forest as she clutched her rist to her chest. The girl had cuts, scratches, and bruises all over her giving her more as she ran barefoot as her clothes which were rags snagged on any tree branch sticking out.

But this girl wasn't normal for she had cat ears and a tail which made her Neko. Her name was well that part I can't say at least not now not while her life is endangered. Let's she what's happening with this fragile little neko.

(Nobody's P.O.V)

The neko's ears started twitching as she heard someone calling her name. She tried running faster but her body was in to much pain. She sniffed the air and veared at a tree and saw a lake. She let out a gasp as her eyes shrunk. Despite the pain she sucked it up and slid her slinder body in the water still clutching her rist. She swam to the bottom and peered up to make sure the others hadn't found her.

She waited a while before she started losing air and swam to to the top and dragging herself onto the grass. She breathed heavily as she curled into a shivering cold wet ball softly wrapping her tail around her rist as her ears layed atop her pink hair. She slowly got up stumbling as she walked out of the forest to a town. She looked around as she saw a abandoned cloak and tossed it on her self she looked down at herself in a piece of broken glass. Her pink hair and ears along with her tail were well hidden under the cloak. The only thing that showed was her slender legs and barefeet with was covered with scratches and bruises.

Her entire body was trembling with pain. So many people stared at the girl shakily walking threw the town. She walked to a quiet alley and went to the far corner in the darkness and slowly slid down the wall. She brought her knees close to her chest as she softly layed her wrist in her lap as a gang of guys cornered her as she tried to fall asleep against the wall. They moved closer to her as she looked up. "I'd like to be alone please" she said her voice trembling as she unrolled herself.

The largest guy who had green hair spoke first, "Why so scared little thing why not remove your cloak so we can see your face." "I'd rather not" she said trembling as he got closer. He out stretched his hand to remove her cloak. 'I won't be able to fight these guys. Not in this condition' she thought as she staggerly got up with a small hiss. "Looks like we got ourselves a fistey one boys" the green head man said with a chuckled reaching out again only to be stopped by a boy with blue hair ran in between the two of them. "Kokuru I've been looking for you and of course your trying to hit on this girl" the boy with blue hair said. "Get out of my way Hatsune" the man named Kokuru said trying to move him out the way but the boy named Hatsune stood his ground. "No" he said staring straight into Kokuru's eyes. Kokuru looked real mad as he swung his elbow at Hatsune's face only to have Hatsune block it with his arm.

One of the men behind Kokuru moved from Hatsune's side with a flying kick Hatsune easily dodging by ducking which was a mistake as Kokuru's knee collided with his face making him fly into the air only to flip towards the wall allowing him to push off the wall. Hatsune's fist hit Kokuru square in the nose. "Mogi,Etsu,Soden attack" Kokuru said moving his hand through the air as he covered his now asumed to be broken bloody nose.

Hatsune rolled his eyes as he did a round house kick to Soden and brought his foot up in the air letting it crash down onto Etsu's head. "Looks like it's just me and you Mogi" Hatsune chuckled. Mogi ran toward Hatsune dodging his attacks until Hatsune stood still until he was able to slide under past Mogi smacking him behind his neck with such force it made him fly towards the shocked girl.

The girl snapped out of her shocked confusion and kicked him hard enough so he flew into the wall with what little strength she had making him hit with a hard thud. The girl shivered a bit as Mogi growled as he shook his head and pushed himself away from the wall. But it was too late Hatsune had knocked Kokuru out and taken the girl with him before Mogi had even been able to move.

As Hatsune ran with the girl on his back he noticed she was only holding on with one hand. He wondered why but didn't slow down until he got to a house he opened the door revealing a hallway and some stairs. Hatsune walked in and over to a kitchen sitting the girl down on the table. "T-t-thank you H-Hatsune was it" she said weakly tightening her grip on rist. "Yes my name is Hatsune it really wasn't a problem saving you fron Kokuru he's a idiot. If he's not drunk or in a fight then he's off looking for some girl he and his gang can mess with" Hatsune said getting out a cake from the fridge and cutting a slice. "Want some cake" Hatsune said after the girl didn't respond.

She thought for a second before saying,"what flavor." "Lemon" Hatsune replied putting a piece on a plate and giving it to her along with a fork. The girl moved her arm forward a bit before putting it back under the cloak and using her other hand which took a bit of getting use to. "You know I don't even know your name. May I ask what it is" Hatsune said taking a bite of his own cake. The girl nodded, "my name is Kyomi" she said hinting she gave a weak smile under her cloak. "May I ask you two more questions" Hatsune asked licking some icing from his face. "Yes" she said. "My first question is why do you wear that cloak indoors" he asked. "...... I prefer not to say but since you saved me I guess I owe you" Kyomi said pulling the hood back only a little to reveal light turquoise eyes that shimmered with worry and a strand of stray thin pink hair.

Hatsune took notice of the worry but continue. "You have buietiful eyes" he mumbled as a bright blush appeared on both of their faces. "My second question is what happened to you. Your covered in scratches and bruises plus something happen to your right arm" he said be observently. "These wounds are from my own actions. My rist is alright though nothing to worry about" she said with a small smile. "No" Hatsune simply said. "No what" Kyomi said her jaw slightly clenching. "They might be from your own actions but your not alright. I see the way you clutch your rist. Plus I know your lieing because I asked about your arm not your rist" Hatsune chuckled.

Kyomi sighed as she slowly removed the hood of her cloak revealing her pink cat ears as the rest of her pink hair as a few strand fell on each side of her face as she shook the rest of her hair free from under the cloak. Hatsune took in her entire face especially her ears. "What exactly are you" he asked more curious than he was shocked. "Well I'm a neko, ~nya" Kyomi said with a toothed grin filled with pain.
