Velvet Sawyer? My name is velvet? The question swarm in her brain as she sits in the back seat of her new parents car. The buildings pass by, her parents talking among them self. She still wonders why these two adults picked her at the age of 16. She as two years left of high school and then moving out. Is it that Veronica and Robby don't want to raise a kid just wants to see them succeed? Whatever it is velvet still is happy to be out of the orphanage.
"Velvet, velvet. Hello?" Veronica said but getting no response from the 16 year old.
"Velvet? We are here," Robby gives it a shot shaking her slightly not to scare her too bad.
"Yah what. Sorry just thinking," the blonde slouches into her seat as her new dad unlocked the door. She steps out of the car and looks up at the house. It's big but also the smallest house on the street. But compared to the other neighbourhood it's giant.
"Your room is up stairs to the left, first room," Veronica said.
Velvet nodded heading up the stairs. Opening her door revels a queen size bed, a desk with a dresser. Nothing really special to the room. But she puts her bags down and jumps on the bed. Tomorrow she will join her new school, an real school not a bunch a orphans in a room learning but a real school.
She sits up and sees a paper on her desk. Not alarmed she gets up and walks to it and picked it up. Scanning the paper she realized it was her schedule. Inside velvet loved being out of the orphanage that she preferred to be called hell hole. But thinks it moving to fast to even think. First the was adopted then now she in this big bed room looking at her school schedule.
Then there is school. She knows she will have to sign papers for her transfer. But then there is the people there. They don't know her, she doesn't know them but she still has to walk into the building with no one. On the bright side velvet wanted to always go to that school no matter what happened years ago. With the girl and boy.
She laid on her newly made bed just to be called down for dinner. She gets right back up opened her door with the warm sent of pizza. She would think this well proper family should have like steak but pizza.
"Velvet, we are having a movie night. We have it every Sunday with the family. What do you want to watch," dad asked. No sure what to answer she just spit out, "supernatural,".
"What that's not a movie. Sorry," she quickly said after.
" no let's watch a show maybe a season tonight. Mix it up," mom said turning on Netflix.
"Supernatural is not exactly a family friendly show. Swearing, blood, death. The main character death multiple times," velvet sat on the couch.
"You are not a kid anymore. We don't care if there is decapitation involve," mom said clicking the pilot of the show.
"There is a lot of decapitation involve," the teen whisper while thinking they are the coolest parents ever.
The show continued with the back story of the mom dying on the ceiling while Sam the youngest kid was in his crib. The summery of the show was that it was years later and they are hunters. Dean went back to get Sam from collage and then on a hunt. Sam came back to find out his girlfriend is dead by the same person who killed their mother. He joined back the family business to find this creature. After that we watched 5 more episodes till mom told the new adition of their family to go to bed. And in all honesty velvet wanted to go to bed, she has a busy day tomorrow with the new school, westerburg high.
She went up stairs to her room and changed into her shorts and tank top. Not wanting to go old school and actually change into pajamas and climbed into bed. She laid there thinking what is it like at the school. will there be people that are mean like the main mean girls. Or is there going to be the cocky jocks that only go for the cheerleaders or is there the geeks that all they do is play cheese. The thoughts and question serme in her brain. but the only thought that kept popping up is the night she remember. The girl with the blood running down her face and the boy with the bloody hand like he lost a finger. The look in the girls eyes like she loved him but has the hate him and the way the boy look like when he opened his arms ready to take some like death. But then the one thing that she thought will happened happened the bomb exploded as the teenager and the girl got covered in smoke. The boy died and the school heartbroken as 4 people died that year while students applied less and less.
She swept that thought out of her head as she lays there looking out the window and at the moon. The wind coming into her window sending her into a deeper trance. Staring at the dark star lit sky is so soothing that when she thought of the next day she didn't even realize she passed out.
Beep beep beep. velvet alarm clock blares as she wakes up. On her first day of school
