Conflicted Love <3

~Chapter 5~

The water was cold, close to freezing it hit me like a bunch of needles. I tried to block it out. I couldn't swim but I would risk anything even myself to try to save Zoey. She was the love of my life and nothing and no one would change that. I remember how and why i broke up with Sarah. *Flashback*

"Sarah enough!!", I said. "I can't deal with this, the constant fighting, you not trusting me, chasing away my friends!!" "I'm done with this we're over!!" Sarah looked at me shocked at what I said just seconds ago. I felt like taking it all back hugging her telling her i wouldn't leave her but i couldn't the love I had for her was long gone. We had lived in my flat for almost a year now. I couldn't stand her anymore her attitude her screaming it was too much and i wasn't gonna deal with it any longer. "I'm gonna give you 2 days to take your stuff. And when your done leave your key." I felt harsh but it was what needed to be done. That night i slept on the couch and let her have the bed she refused but i ignored her. During the night i heard faint sobs coming from the room upstairs. I couldn't help but feel bad. But I didn't do anything to comfort her. I soon fell asleep. In the morning i woke up the smell of breakfast being made. Sarah had cooked breakfast and hoped that everything that had happened did not happen.

"Good morning love", she said. I was confused until I realized what she was doing.

"No Sarah. I know what you're doing. Nothing has changed I meant everything I said." She looked hurt. I went upstairs took a quick shower changed and left. I didn't want to stay there any longer. I went over to Niall and Harry's apartment knowing that by this time all the guys would be there. I got there and they had just finished eating.

"Zayn" they all cheered. "How you been. How's it going with Sarah?" I broke up with her last night" ,I said. A look of shock then sadness came over their faces. "I'm so sorry Zayn", Liam said hugging me. The rest of the guys joined in and made it a group hug. After that I explained what had happened and that I was alright with it. I had no problem's with Sarah at the beginning she lived her life I lived mine. Until she wanted to get back together. She texted me called me messaged me on social media. I had to change my number multiple times until she stopped. Finally about half a year later I met Zoey. That's when I thought my life had turned around. We have been dating since then.
