After two hours of waiting my phone finally rang. "Hello?" I said in an excited but uncertain voice.
"Hi,it's Justin " he whispered into the phone with his magical voice.
" I know, I mean hi" I idiotically said.
"Hi" an awkward silence went by but I was to afraid to speak first." So what's up" he questioned
"Nothing much how about you"
"Nothing much" wow he's great at keeping conversation, I thought to myself. Is that all he called for? To ask how I was. Jesus just ask me out already, I thought. For a second I was scared I had said it out loud but when he didn't reply I knew I was safe. " So would you maybe want to go out sometime" he asked. Would I?
"I would love to" I replied maybe a bit to enthusiastically.
"Great Friday at seven good for you" he asked. Wow, what a gentleman, I thought with wide eyes.
"Yea that will be cool" I said. That will be cool? Jesus Kameron,I guess we know what isn't cool. God I'm stupid.
After half an hour of thinking about him I finally went to sleep.
I woke up to an extremely loud beeping noise...the smoke detector! I ran downstairs as fast as I could. Mom! Mom! Where are you? I went to kitchen and saw a whole bunch of smoke around the stove along with my mother holding a dying pan with burnt bacon in it. She never was the best at cooking.
"Mom it's 8:30 in the morning why are you cooking bacon?" I asked trying not to sound to mad that I had only gotten about six hours of sleep.
" I don't know I thought you might like to have a good breakfast this morning, but you know how I am with cooking." She said sounding a bit ashamed that she couldn't even make breakfast for he daughter.
" Oh hey mom, I forgot to tell you, I have a date tomorrow." I stated trying to not shout it at her with excitement.
"You, a date? With who?" She asked. Wow mom thanks for having confidence in me.
"This boy I met at the custard stand named Justin" I replied blushing.
"Oh that's cool is he nice?" She asked
"Yea" I said looking away and smiling "he's nice."
Ugh I couldn't believe I actually had a date with someone. A hot someone!
The next day:
Oh my god. I could not believe it, I actually had a date today. When I woke, around 11 a.m, I ate breakfast then hopped in the shower.
