Crimson sat at the head of the long wooden table staring at his men briefing him on the latest mission. Light sat on his left, Dex beside him and Abel stood across from everyone. His men were a mix of old and new. Old from his old man and new from his own connections.
The name was created by his old man's old man and its sticking. The club rules were easy, everything was clean and simple; nothing complicated. The club rules changed over the last few years after Crimson took over for his old man.
When Crimson was a teenager he sat in on every meeting his father hosted. Some were long, some were short and others were unbearable. The unbearable ones were the ones he hated the most. The ones that made the club who they used to be.
From the meetings, most of all he learned what it meant to be a leader of the Outsiders. Ruthless and merciless. You can't be all warm and fuzzy when you deal with the dirt that is dragged into the club son. These words struck him each time he had a situation to handle.
How he kept the club was his choice and he kept it clean. The club owned garages, bars and a few car shops in town. Most of his investments came from selling parts and fixing cars, but the club handled itself just fine.
Abel was up debriefing and the file opened to her face. Crimson wanted every detail on her. Every single information he can find. He sent Abel to search and this was what came back, "Her file is clean, but there was something that caught our eye boss"he said. Crimson bored a look into Abel waiting for him to respond.
"She's only lived in town for about six weeks and takes online classes. Only a few credits away from earning her degree. Her bank account is non existant. All of her savings goes to classes and her car. Most of her time is spent at work, her courses or on her small business" he said with emphasis.
Crimson eyes bore into Abel as if asking if there was anything abnormal. "She makes handmade jewelry and sells them to a boutique store in town. Overall, she seems pretty clean but we also tracked her movements in town. She is weary of people around her and keeps to herself. When people approach her, she shies away and chooses not to interact with others. The only people she comes into contact with is her boss Sam McLean, a waitress named Kira Atkins and the boutique owner Monique" he turned his file to the second sheet and took another breath.
"We dug a little more and we found out why she is the way she is, you might just want to read this boss. It's heavy" whispered Abel. The other men took this as an order to leave and closed the heavy wooden door behind them. Light, Abel and Dex stayed behind.
Crimson rolled his skull pinky ring on the table and grabbed the folder. Life isn't always rainbows and butterflies son, you have to make choices. Even if they are heavy ones.
