Plot twists-Phan

A/N: Ehehe I had so fun writing this :D It’s a drabble and kind of made at 2 am last night so it’s not a work of art but please read if you like to and I’ll go watch Sherlock while you read x3 

Phil opened the door to the flat.
  ”Dan! I’m home!” He heard footsteps running and suddenly he felt arms around him, hugging him tight.
  “Dan? Uh, what are you doing?” He asked as he pulled away from Dan, looking into his caramel brown eyes. The eyes he loved. The eyes he could stare into for hours.
  “I just… missed you, I guess” Dan mumbled and took a step back.
  “I’ve missed you too, Dan. Florida was great, but it’s not the same without spending the days with your best friend, you know” Phil sighed. Best friends, that was all they were. Nothing more, nothing less. Just friends. Or that was what Dan thought. Phil had to constantly think of what he did didn’t look suspicious to Dan, always ignore the urge to hug, kiss and cuddle the younger boy.  But Phil immediately blocked the thought and pulled Dan into a hug again. He felt the boys arms tighten around him and his head rested on Phil’s shoulder. Phil thought he heard Dan sigh and pulled away.
  “What’s wrong, Dan?” He asked.
  “I’m fine Phil, I’m just glad you’re home” Dan said and pulled away from Phil. “Anyway, I’ve got a video to edit so I have to do it now…” Dan mumbled while he started to walk away. Phil sighed, if only he could tell Dan how he felt. Dan made his way into his room, Phil went to make some hot chocolate. He didn’t bother telling Dan, but thought he would surprise him. He heard Dan tapping on the table and smiled for himself. Phil loved everything about Dan, the way he moved, smiled, his bad habits like chewing pens and tapping, his clumsiness and his eyes. Everything about him made Phil’s knees go weak. He finished the two cups of hot chocolate and started walking to Dan’s room.
  “Daan! I got you a surprise!” Phil shouted as he walked down the hallway.
  “Tell me tell me tell me!” Dan shouted back. Phil sighed; Dan really acted like a child sometimes. He opened the door to be greeted with a grinning Dan, clapping his hands.
  “I made you hot chocolate!” Phil shouted and gave the mug to Dan who was squealing.
  “Awh thanks Phil! You’re the best!” he smiled. Phil heart did a flip-over as Dan spoke. He quickly made the decision and turned back to Dan with a more serious face.
  “Dan, we need to talk” Phil mumbled.
  “Well, go on! I won’t leave!” Dan laughed, looking concerned. “You’re saying that know, let’s see what you think after I’m done” Phil thought as he sat down on Dan’s bed.
  “I just-, this is really hard for me, so I’ll just say it, leave, and then it’s your decision whether you want to kick me out or not”. Phil stuttered, suddenly very interested in Dan’s floor.
  “Don’t be silly, why would I kick you out?” Dan chuckled while sitting down next to him.
  “Dan…” Phil begun “I really don’t know how to say it, there’s just one way so… Dan, I’m in love with you” Phil whispered. “I’m in love with you and have been since we first met. It’s been so hard to hide it, I just couldn’t take it anymore, so here it goes, I love you Dan, always have, always will” Phil started whispering but his voice got stronger as he finished the sentence. “I’ll just go now” He mumbled and stood up. Dan grabbed him by his shoulders and pulled him down again. “Dan what-“Phil was interrupted by Dan’s lips, softly pressed on his. He could feel Dan’s soft lips gently pressed against his own. Without thinking he started to kiss back, grabbing Dan by his hair and pulling him closer. Dan pulled away and looked straight into Phil’s eyes. “So you like me back?” Phil whispered silently.
  “Of course I do, silly! How couldn’t I after 3 years? I’ve been waiting for those words for so long, I love you Phil” Dan smiled and pulled Phil into a hug. “Always have, always will”

Phil sighed and closed the computer, a few tears spilling from his eyes as he deleted the document named “Confessions/Phan” It would never happen anyway.
