The lost boys (love story)

Chapter four

     The next day I woke up. I went into the bathroom to see the bruise on my cheek from when my mom hit me. Really I didn't care if people saw it. I quickly got dressed in all black and walked to the video store. Time flew by as I worked all day. At the end of my shift those girls came in  throwing insults and threats at me.

    I'm a very sensitive person. Later on I walked out and went to the carasel. I sat on the bench and staied on with my knees to my chest. "Hey." I heard a familiar deep voice whisper in my ear. I turn to look beside me and see David smirking down at me. I smile at him as he walks around and sits next to me. "Have you been crying?" He asked quietly. I shake my head no and let out a nervous laugh.

   He kinda glared at me and I gave in. "Okay only a little bit its no big deal." I say with a small smile. "Your mom do that?" He asked as he gracefully touched my cheek with the back of his fingers. I got chills and blushed a bit. "Yeah." I say looking at his pale blue eyes. David gentaly put a kiss on the bruise. "I told you guys to stay off the bored walk." A fat officer says standing in front of us. I looked at him annoyed. "Aren't you a little to big to be on here?" I asked with a small smirk. The guys all let out a small laugh.

     The officer got red with anger. "You too off." He says. David and I get up and he throws his arm around my shoulders. We all head off the carasel and head over to the bikes. We stood around and talked for a bit. "I thought I told you to stay away from him you b*tch!" Yelled that annoying girl. I turn around. The girl smakes me hard across the face.

    David quickly stood up, but I grabbed his arm telling him no. He sat down and I got on the bike.

    I sat in Davids lap as we all talked in the cave. Laddie came in and we talked for a while. He loved comic books and that's when I got an idea. "Well how about tomorrow after I get off work I'll take you to the comic book store and get you a new one." I say with a smile Laddie jumps up and down with delight. He gose back to his bed and I lay against David. "You sure do know how to make a kid happy." Marko said with a small laugh. I laughed a little as well.

    Later on David took me home. "You gonna be okay tonight?" He asked standing up a bit. "Yeah I'll be fine David." I say as I smile up to him. David leaned down and his lips met mine. I was shocked at first, but then I put my arms around his neck and kissed him back. When we broke David smirked at me. "Why don't you just come back with me. We can party all night and sleep all day. It will be fun." He says  holding me close. "Maybe another night." I say before going Into my house.
