Chapter 1 "The break up"

Daniel POV

My name is Daniel and this is the story of how I traveled and searched for someone who even though I met for a short time, made me feel something special about how I feel about him so we are gonna start from the beginning of how everything started.

September 15, 2012

My day started out like usual, I woke up around 9am, showered, got dressed, kissed my loving fiance Rachel on the head while she slept because she preferred to stay home then work at the moment, so I basically provided all our needs at a steady income job as computer repair man, it paid fine enough for food and bills so we didn't complain. The only thing issue I had was that my fiance doesn't want to do anything with me anymore and always on her phone texting someone but I didn't want her to think I didn't trust her so I left her be but tried to do things with her like go out to dinner or movies which is nice sometimes but doesn't really fix the problem. Anyways.... I never really ate breakfast so I walked out and yelled out I'll be back by 8:30pm, My job usual closes at 10pm but we been having some issues with the lights so they needed to be checked and fixed. I crossed the street and got into my BMW, it was a nice car, got it at a fair price but just mostly glad I don't have to take a bus or train. I arrived at my job and basically the whole entire day not much people came but few with just small issues.

3:57pm

My break was starting, so I helped the last customer who had a error and went straight to my car and went to McDonald's, I don't care about what anyone say about how the food is bad, I'm pretty fit and watch my weight so eating something like this wouldn't be so bad. I got there but realized in the drive through I forgot my wallet but luckily found 20$ in the glove compartment. After I got my food and got something for Rachel, I drove back to the apartment since my break doesn't end for another hour. I got out my and just brought food Rachel and left mine since I'll just eat when I get back to work. I made it to the 5th floor where our apartment was and the building was classy, not bad or anything or have bad or ignorant people, mostly everyone keeps to themselves. I made it to the end of the apartment was and unlocked the door with my key, I didn't announce myself since I figured Rachel could of still been sleeping. I looked in the kitchen and didn't find my wallet but went into the living room and found my wallet on the coffee table. I left Rachel food on the table and grabbed my wallet but before I walked out of the apartment I heard faint noises coming from my room. I was curious what those noises were, thinking maybe Rachel was having a panic attack but as I got closer the faint noises seemed to get louder, and then it started to sound like there were more than 1 person or thing making the noise. The door was cracked, not cracked to where it's wide enough to see whoever is in the hallway but cracked to see inside the room. As I peeked and scanned the room, I finally looked at my our bed and for a moment, my heart stopped. There was Rachel, on the bed with another man I have never seen before. I had finally came back to reality and pushed opened the door forcefully where it slammed into the wall behind it, Rachel and the man on top of her was startled for a quick second and tried to see what made the door open. As soon as Rachel looked at me, she knew at this moment, that what she saw in my eyes was not the man she knew and loved when she first met me.

"Rachel...what the hell is going on? Who is this man?" I said with a loud tone in my voice

"Dani- I uh- I...I been having an affair for 3 months" She said with the most scared look on her face

I stood there for a moment, I stared at the men next to her, he looked weak, afraid as if I was a murderer planning to kill him, if I wanted to, I could of, but at this moment I was hurt so I didn't know what to do or say. There was a awkward silence for a moment until I spoke

"I'm going back to work, and if you and that man is still here when I get back, we are gonna have some serious issues" I said with a angered look on my face

"Danny wait!" Rachel cried out

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT YOU WHORE, YOU HAVE 5 HOURS TO PACK YOUR SHIT AND LEAVE, AND IF YOUR STILL HERE, I SWEAR TO GOD!" I said yelling out with the most hateful look on my face

I walked out, I didn't turn back, cause if I did, I would have to face the fact I let her see me cry.

2 Hours later..

I couldn't work properly, I wasn't focused, just thinking of what happened had upset me, I couldn't think straight, my manager came and saw how I looked, he knew something was wrong, not only was he my manager, but also one of close friends I knew since college, he was cool guy and understood me better than anyone else. When we left college, I went on to study more but he just went on to become a computer repair man, helping out people anyway he can. I just applied for this job and randomly found out about him working here so some luck I had. He didn't even ask me what was wrong. He told me I either looked like I was gonna cry or punch a wall so he told me to leave earlier, it would be fine, so I did. I got into my car and tried to concentrate on the road but my mind was heavily clouded.

20 minutes later..

I finally got home, when I opened my apartment, all the lights were off but I turned on the kitchen and living room light. I checked all around and found out she left and with most of her stuff. I just went back into the living room and laid down on the couch. I didn't even bother to eat or take off my clothes, I couldn't...not after what happen, after staring at the wall for a certain time I finally dazed off and went to sleep....
