Liam's P.O.V
"Alright today we'll be doing a scavenger hunt. I've set it up around the whole school. You will be working in pairs and there are 15 questions to answer. First pair back here gets free time for the rest of the lesson. Once I've handed out all the question sheets you can start." Mr. Hughes said. Brooklyn and I exchanged a funny look and then laughed at each other. "you a pair?" Mr. Hughes asked. I nodded. "here you go, wait till i say go." He said and handed us a piece of paper with questions on it. Question one was 'How many stairs is there to get into the main building?' "so we just go to like the entrance and count them? Brooke asked. "I guess so" I shrugged. "eh, boring" she sighed. "not if we win" I smirked. "we better win then" She laughed. "we will" I said. "On your marks, set, go!" Mr. Hughes yelled and everyone ran off in different directions. Brooklyn and I ran to the front entrance and began counting the stairs, "1, 2, 3, 4....11, 12, 13, 14!" She smiled as she got to the top. "okay next question, In the library, which book has the most amount of pages?" I read. "to the library" she giggled and ran off toward the library. "do we have to count them all?" I asked. "no stupid, just ask the librarian" she face palmed. "oh, good idea" I chuckled. "excuse me, what book has the most amount of pages?" Brooke asked the librarian. "let me check that for you" she smiled and looked something up on her computer. "um, that would be the extended version of the oxford dictionary." She stated. "thanks" We smiled and I quickly scribbled the answer down.
"Last question!" I said excitedly. "how many footballs does this school own?" I read. "do we even play football here?" Brooke asked. "nope" I laughed. "none then" she said. "we're done" I cheered and we ran back to the gym. Mr. Hughes was sitting in his office. "Mr. Hughes, we're done!" I said and handed him the sheet of paper. "hmm, that was fast. But is it correct?" He pondered and compared our sheet to the answer sheet.
"Very good, all correct. You have free time." He smiled and handed us our sheet back. As we were walking out of his office basically the rest of the class all ran in at the same time. "Whoop we won!" Brooke laughed. "told ya we would" I smiled and high-fived her. "what are we gonna do?" I asked. "I don't know, sleep?" She suggested. "I could actually do with a nap" I agreed. "Let's go sleep in the bean bags at the library" she said. "sounds great" I nodded. We headed back over to the library, "can I help you?" The librarian asked. "no thanks, we just got free time" Brooklyn smiled. "oh, okay" the librarian smiled and continued whatever she was doing on her computer. We walked to the back of the library where there is a smallish room filled with bean bags and a projector. It was supposed to be used for educational movies and stuff but Scott told me that no one ever uses it because a group freshman last year broke the projector and the school can't be bothered fixing it. I followed Brooke in and she dived on a bean bag. "This one's my favourite" She smiled and wiggled into it. "how do you know?" I asked. "I just do" she stated. "whatever" I laughed and sat down in a blue one.
