Harry's P.O.V.
I held her tightly, as soon as those simple words escaped her lips i felt a dagger in my chest. It hurt that she was hurt and i had never felt any sensation like this before. I felt her pain even before i knew why she was upset. She shook her head over and over in my chest as a continuously rubbed her hair smooth. Her breathing stopped for a second before regaining its strength. She stepped back once, not willing to look me in the eyes. I reached for her chin lifting it up but her eyes continued to trail off to the objects around me.
"Look Harry, i can't be here," She weeped turning to leave, but i grabbed her wrist, just like when we first met. She looked down at mine and her arms briefly before looking up at me again.
"Stay, please" I sighed, "Stay with me, i need to know what's wrong Stella"
"I don't deserve you Harry, i really don't, you're too good for me, i should go, it was a stupid idea to come," She tried to turn again but i held her arm.She froze, "D'you really care," She softened her facial expression. "I care more than anything in the world, Stella," I stared into her eyes, but she again refused to look at me. "Can we go for a walk," I nodded, and quickly headed inside grabbing my jacket, all the boys questioned me but i ignored them and headed for the door, the sound of their footsteps behind me. I shut the door and reached for Stella's hand, grabbing it and holding it tight, rubbing her hand with my thumb. "Come on, let's go," i said looking out onto the street. "I didn't realize you had guests, i would've gone home if i'd known, i wouldn't have.." I interrupted her with the touch of my finger on her lips, "Shhh" i whispered, "Who cares, they don't even matter anyways," I murmured as we stopped and looked into each others eyes. I looked above me at the dark sky, barely able to see the moon because of rain clouds covering it, it was going to rain tonight.
Together we strolled slowly down the sad street that i lived on with nothing but each other to look at.It was pleasant but there was an awkward tension between our small talk. We had walked a couple blocks when we stopped at a bench, facing to dirty, polluted road that was in front of us, it wasn't exactly the bench from the fault in our stars but it didn't need to be nice, we just needed to talk, even if it was as an audience to hoons and shady looking men walking down the dark street.
"Stella," I said almost out of nowhere but at the same time expected, "Can you tell me what happened...please?" I said slowly, with a obviously sympathetic look on my face. She sighed and paused, i didn't say anything because i didn't want to disrupt her thoughts. "I got evicted," She whimpered, "from my apartment," I rubbed her back, "and as of now i am officially homeless," She rubbed her lips together tightly. "I'm sorry, that this all happened to you in one day, i promise you it will be okay," I hugged her, She sat up, "The thing is that.." she paused, "for once in my life i thought that i was doing okay... that i was good enough, that i was succeeding at something, that i could actually make my parents," she paused again, "...proud" i sighed and held her tighter as she began to cry softly, "It doesn't matter if you are succeeding at nothing at all or that you are doing okay," i murmured, "all that matters is that you know that you are good enough," I reassured her,
"Too who?" She questioned, looking up at me,
"to yourself, and especially to me, because i truly believe that you are the greatest girl i have ever met," i laughed half-heartedly, "and doesn't that mean you good enough.." She didn't say anything but i caught her smiling lightly to herself as she laid in my arms, with her eyes closed.
"UMMM Hi" I heard a small voice say, nearby, i looked up to see a fan, it was obvious with the one direction shirt and squealy voice as well as the way she had her phone filming, fans never wanted to meet you, i know thats what they say but the truth is all they want is a picture with you. I'm still waiting for the day when i meet a fan and actually have a conversation with them. "Hiya" I said, trying not to disturb Stella but she slowly moved and sat up.
"I'm Rachel, im a um biiiiig fan," She said shaking, i reached for a hug,
"Would you like a photo" I offered, kind of wanting her to leave because she ruined me and Stella's little moment back there,
"Ohhh yess please," she held up her phone and we took a selfie, then she asked if Stella could take one of us, so she did and then we said our goodbyes. "Sorry bout that," i whispered to Stella, as we walked away, she replied "Its all part of the deal Styles," She smiled, reaching for my hand as we walked back to my house, i took her hand and smiled to myself. Wow i was lucky to have ever met her.
