"Hey, you ready?"

"Yeah."

"You sure?"

"Uh huh."

"For crying out loud Abs, get your ass out of bed before we're late!" With a groan I slowly sat up in my bed, rubbing my tired eyes, then frowned. How could she tell? "ABBY!"

"I'm up! I'm up!" I said before she could do anymore shouting. No one needed that in a morning, especially me. "Jeez why are you so loud? " I complained.

I could practically hear my best friend roll her eyes. "Maybe if you actually got up in a morning I wouldn't need to be. Anyways hurry up, it's freezing out here!" She told me before hanging up.

Sighing I did as I was told and dragged myself into the bathroom for a quick shower, making sure to use my favourite coconut body wash, before I changed into a pair of skinny jeans and my favourite sweater. It was grey and fluffy with a cute little koala face printed on it.

Luckily I'd already packed my bag last night so I quickly slipped it on after grabbing my coat before I rushed down the stairs.

"Late again sis? It's weird.. it's almost as if someone reset your alarm on purpose."

Turning around I glared at my little brother who was walking down the stairs smiling innocently at me. "You little brat!"

Now he full on grinned. "Ah ah, didn't mom tell you to be nice to me from now on or you won't get that car you want so badly?"

I scowled at him. "Whatever. Shouldn't you have left by now?"

"Actually I'm getting a lift from Sean's mum but er.." He stepped off the last step and I couldn't help but frown at the fact my 15 year old brother is taller than me. He smirked before continuing. "You have fun out there in the cold."

An impatient knock on the door stopped me from snapping. Sending one last glare his way, I opened the front door and stepped outside into the cold air.

"Finally!" Emma cheered when she saw me. "I thought you'd slipped in the shower again or something."

Blushing I gave her a light shove. "Emma! You said you'd never mention that again!"

She grinned at me. "I could have been lying. Anyways, there's no one around to hear me."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. It was actually Jay's fault anyways, turns out he reset my alarm, again."

Emma laughed loudly. "Seriously? That's like the 4th time he's done that to you ,why don't you just put a lock on your door? Or better yet, you should prank him back!" Her eyes lit up as she spoke, Emma was obsessed with tricking and pranking people only instead of normal people who prank their friends, Emma prefers pranking strangers. I can't count the amount of times me and our other good friends ,Tyler and Mark, have been dragged into helping her out, which is really unfortunate whenever it goes wrong. However I can't lie, when we don't get caught it's pretty fun.

"You know I suck at pranks Emma. Besides if my mum found out I'd never get my car and we'd be stuck walking to school everyday. "

"True." Emma agreed." How come you weren't up anyways? You're normally always up before your alarm goes off."

I sighed. "I got called into last minute babysitting for the Donovan's. I swear the only reason they have two date nights a week is to get the hell away from those Devil twins."
