Chapter 2

"Mark I missed you so much," I said with a smile, then I punched him, hard, " Why didn't you write back, or call even once. We all thought you were dead, we searched, and searched for years. After a while we gave up. I haven't seen you in 7 years, 7 long years!!! I am surprised that you even know what I look like."

"Just because you can not see me little sister does not mean that I am there." He wiped his tears away and looked straight at Liz, who's big sister has left the same time he did, it seemed until today that we were both cursed, cursed because our sibling thought that we weren't good enough for wither of them. "Hey Liz, how have you been?" Mark paused waiting for her to answer, but no she looks to angry right now to even speak to my brother. "Your sister is teaching a class right now, She misses you and will come here when her class is done. May I please see your schedule Liz?"

She hands him her schedule but now she feels guilty, guilty that she thought bad of her sister for the past 7 years, and she wasn't alone because I feel guilty for feeling the same way towards my brother as well.

After eyeing her schedule for a good 10 minuets Mark finally speaks, "Sweet, you have me, your sister, and my lovely fiancé here for teachers," he turns to Silver,"Hey honey, do the girls have the same schedule?"

"Wait what? Honey, fiance... did I miss something here," I say very confused, Silver said that she knew my brother but not how much she knew Mark; now I know exactly how much.

"Oh yeah, forgot to tell you I guess," She spoke calmly and went on to answer me brother," No Mark they don't. Alice has three classes with me and Liz has one."

"Oh, ok," I see sorrow drown his face like he wanted to spend more time with me,"I guess I will see you later." He turns and gives Silver a quick kiss on the lips, hugs Liz, and turns to me he bends down to hugs me and whispers, "Rich is in my class, I bet you $50.00 that he misses you more than I did. Remember when you sent me a letter about a year ago saying that he disappeared just like me, without a trace or a goodbye, well he came to the house scared in the middle of the night wondering why he has a symbol on his wrist he figured it had something to do with the house. Smart boy." he looks down at my wrist, "You have the same symbol as he does, how ironic," he smiles and says, " I love and miss you little sis."

He stood up and turned to walk out the door,  "Your on!" I exclaimed, "Make it double." Not even a day within seeing him again and I am already making bets with him, its like nothing has changed. He paused, when walked out into the dim hallway,  Silver left behind him she stops in the doorway and turns around,"See  you too at The Ceremony tonight, there is a store down stairs in the court area, it's called Juniper's Daughter, my choices of clothing tonight is a dress, yours should be too." She turns shuts the door and leaves me and Liz in the room. Wondering... What in the Hell is The Ceremony?
