Chapter 13

Riwoo's POV

My fast nap was interrupted when I felt a nudge on my shoulder. I turned softly and saw Yujin's sorry face. 

"Hyung, what are you planning to do when we get there?" Yujin asked making everyone perk up.

"Honestly, I am not sure. A mile from here is a bus station. We will drop you and Woonhak, and the rest of us will go and try our luck," I said with a smile. 

I was aware of how my outbursts looked, and I wasn't going to yell at a kid for accidentally associating with the wrong people. Hanbin nodded softly at Yujin and assured him that everything would be alright.

After reaching the bus station, even Sungho woke up. We made Woonhak promise to make sure Yujin reached home safely as a way of making him feel important, and I know for a fact Hanbin had told Yujin the same story about making Woonhak reach home.

"Call me when you reach,"  Jaehyun said as a formal goodbye.

"Ahjussi, let's go. I am sure people are waiting for us." I said point-blank.

The ride was silent for a while, then Gunwook stood up and asked loudly, " hyung, do you have a plan or should i do something?" 

"i thought i was clear i wanted nothing to hear from you or Sungho." i said loudly.

"i cant let 20 guys die just like that." gunwook said almost losing his cool.

"so you prefer to be the sacrificial lamb. Park Gunwook, you have surely grown up!" Jiwoong hyung said angrily.

"lets all calm down. the next bus station who gets down, lets decide that!" Sungchan hyung said.

"Not me!" The two words were uttered in chorus. 

"How many people are waiting? Exactly!" Sohee asked in a low voice.

"The mafias from three different territories. all are mostly looking for Park Sungho, and i dont see any way out," the ahjussi said.

"You underestimate our planning abilities. we can always leave," Seunghan said with a smirk.

"At the next bus stop, I will take Park Sungho with me." Wonbin said in thought. "they dont know us individually other than Sungho, so I leave with him and the next stop 2 more people and that way by the time this bus gets to Seoul it wouldnt have anyone." he added.

"That is a smart idea," i said honestly.

"So we keep running for the rest of our lives like some rats," Eunsoek said bitterly.

"Wonbin, you take Jeahyun and Sohee. I will deal with Park Sungho and Park Gunwook." Eunsoek said.

"What are you planning to do with them?" I asked, bracing myself for another suicide mission.

"Do as you said. Take them both to the place it started. The mafia he challenged house." Eunsoek said, "i will bet on their father's enemity with each other and make them a third enemy." he concluded 

Third-person POV

After many more stops the bus was left with jiwoong, leehan, Taesan, sungho, eunsoek, sunngchan and gunwook.  "Taesan and leehan, you two can also go." Eunsoek said pulling at the second last stop.

"we are so sorry, text us when you are saved." leehan said softly.

the bus moved on and after dropping Jiwoong and Sungchan, the ride went right to the place it was needed.

"Appa." sungho said softly after seeing his dad in the Kim manor. his dad just shook his head and walked into the house.

they all walked in and after a while Gunwook's dad came too.

"Let's just reach an argeement here." Gunwook's dad said firmly.

"He is my only son and whatever he did, he mightve had a reasonable excuse so what do you need to reach a settlement." Gunwook's dad said without missing a beat.

after a long discussion a consesus was found and everyone went their separate way. the catch was the three groups should never meet again and Gunwook is to wed the daughter of the Kim family. he was hesitatant about that but freedom was also agreed upon.

Eunsoek called everyone on a group call and informed them that everything was fine and the condition put forward. while they were celebrating, a loud bang was heard and the phone slipped from eunsoek's hand as his abdomen was shot, he looked around and saw Sungho's body laying lifeless and beside it Gunwook's unresponsive body. 

the people in the call screamed so hard and BANG a figure woke up from the deepest sleep. IT was Jaehyun. he looked around and checked his phone and the date shook him to his core. HE WAS BACK TO THE DAY HE WAS SUPPOSED TO MOVE INTO THE NEW DORMS.

"YA MYUNG JAEHYUN! wake up." Hanbin called.

I AM SO SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG TO UPDATE BUT I COULDNT FIND A BETTER ENDING FOR THIS, i know this is also heartbreaking but i dont know what else to give so here is the last chapter of this book.
