I heard a sudden creaking noise. The Chooser is here and he is back with a new comer. I ran into a near by closet and left the door open just enough to see what was going on. I saw a very tall middle aged man dressed in a striped green shirt tucked into his pants. His belt had matched his cowhide boots that clicked on the ground as he walked. He was the casual yet deadly person everyone feared. The Chooser. I then saw him dragging a guy into the house. He had dropped his legs on the ground as he left. I waited till the coast was clear to see if he was alright. I then ran out if the closet to check on him. He was a very muscular guy with brown hair. He was waring country attire with a mark on his neck. I went to pull the color of the shirt out of the way to see what it was when he grabbed my arm. "Who the hell are you and where am I" he asked demanding an answere. "I am Angélique you can call me Angel for short" I said with a calming look on my face "What's your name?". "Will" he said "Now tell me, where the hell am I". I looked at him then got to my feet and then helped him up soon after. "All I know is that we are stuck in this house and we are The Chooser's gueni pigs for his little "project". "Who is the chooser" Will asked. "Well I was hear with the first group" I said gazing into his eyes then looked down to my feet  "He killed all of them except me. He told only me clues on were the dead bodied were. After he was finished killing everyone he left me alone in this house for two days. He would talk to me over the intercom and tell me things about him every thirty minutes of every day. Thirty minutes ago he told me that I should call him the chooser and that I will soon have company once again in this old house. He told me that I had a purpose being in the "second round" and that's all he told me". He looked at me in shock. "There was other people", he asked. "Yes and they were too stupid to see all the things that I saw" I said in grief "And that's why they are all dead now". "What did you see exactly" Will asked as if I were talking about me seeing a  ghost or something stupid like that. "Well" I said breathing in then sighing "I saw every clue he left us. I saw all the little glitches in his project". "So your calling all this a project now" he asked with one eyebrow raised and his thumbs in the corners of his pant pockets. "Would you rather me call it a house warming party instead" I said sarcastically. "Well whatever this is I'm getting the heck outta here" he said scanning the room to look for a possible escape. "Well good luck with that" I said sarcastically "There is no way out of here trust me I know". He looked at me then at the book case in the corner of the room. "Well maybe its like the movies" he said running over to the book case and pulling all the books out to see if it would open some kind of door to Narnia or something. He then sighed and looked at the empty book case then down at the pile of books surrounding his feat. "Well I'm all out of ideas now" he said flailing his arms in the air and walking towards me. His charming silliness brought a smile to my face. I haven't felt the warm embrace of happiness for a long time now. Then I began to think of why I haven't smiled in such a long time. My lips once again paired up with my frown making it seem like there is no hope left for me anymore. For some reason he makes me feel hope ,but I know he might die soon so I shouldn't become friends with him. I have learned my lession with making friends with people that I know is next. I don't want to cry anymore and grieve over the ones I've known well. I then suddenly heard a noise like the sound of someone turning on a microphone near an amplifier. I then heard a muffled voice over the intercom."I see you have met the new comer, Angel "  he said with his deep yet calm voice "I just want you to know that in exactly five minutes from now there will be another person to fill a spot in the house. Better start counting down". "Hey genius" I yelled "We don't have a clock". I jumped at the sound of the ear piercing door bell. I walked slowly towards the front door and saw a box already inside. There it was a clock and underneath the clock were pictures of the people from the last group. The sight of there mutilated bodied made me drop the pictures in disgust. I then hurried to pic them up worried that Will might see them. I didn't want him to see them for they might have been to much for him right know. I then picked up the last picture and it was the picture of my best friend Audrey. I flipped it over and saw the words 'Don't worry you will see her soon. In five minutes to be exact' in terrible hand writing. "Don't you touch her" I yelled in anger. "To late" he said in a deep muffled voice over the intercom. I then heard a loud thud that came from upstairs. I raced upstairs soon followed by Will.  I opened the door that the loud thud came from. I thought it was against his rules to take a person that was close to one of his subjects but he bent the rules to make me angry. There she was, Audrey, laying on the ground. She looked up with a worried look on her face. "Angel?".
