Masked souls.

They burn inside but they don't show tears

They keep smiling so that you won't notice

They hurt themselves for others to shine

Blood related or strangers they live for all

They never choose colors as they are allergic to racists

They detest comfort and hate spoiled brats

They love earning from their sweat and giving smiles

You say hi and the next thing you realize is love whirling in the air

You wonder why they doing it but they ask for nothing in return

With others they forget their sorrow but alone

At night is when it all comes back

Like a wrecking ball hitting them so hard

The pillow is their only shoulder

Catching their tears and getting socked

For them to unload the heaviness from their inner soul

For a new tomorrow to find peace and love

As they unite fire and fuel for knowledge missing all along

Teaching them they can't create a flame when one is absent

Togetherness wins all!
