The car ride home was awkward. He just fought Louis, his best friend... and left him there. Shit I just realized how horrible this sounds. "Harry" I say. "What" he answers. I could hear the overprotective in his husky voice. "How, H-how did you do that?" I asked. "Do what?" he spat. "How do you... beat up your friend and leave him there?" He grips the black steering wheel. "If it means protecting you I'll do it" he says after a moment of pure silence. Me? The girl he just recently started dating? I didn't know what to say so I just simply kissed his strong cheek. "I'd protect you to" I said.
