*EDITED*

It was only second period; of course I should have known Mr Jones would give us homework. Same routine. I only liked this lesson because I had all my friends with me which was something I look forward to all day.

Next to me is Jack. No doubt that Jack the hottest boy in our school, there is no discussion but I don't do boyfriends. The closest I have gotten to a boy is his best friend and that is where Jack stands in my life. I'm sorry if you didn't want to be in the friend zone but I don't have to boyfriend zone. His eyes are unique here in Australia because most of the people here have blue eyes, it's rare that you find green and it's sometimes impossible to find hazel or brown. Jack has the hazel eyes that you could stare into all day and get lost but he doesn't have a girlfriend so there is no one to stare into them.

The rest of the football team includes Noah, William, Mason, Lucas, Liam, James, Ethan, Joseph, Nick and Hunter. I don't know how it is possible but they all look a tad bit alike it can get a bit freaky at times. All their eyes are blue, different shades obviously except Liam who has brown and Hunter who has green. Liam isn't Australian he comes from Britain so he has a hint of the British accent and a hint of the Australian accent. Hunter on the other hand is Canadian. He didn't really have an accent when he came here because his parents travel a lot and decided they wanted to live in Australia.

"Wait why do we get homework on the last day of school?" Noah whispered from behind me. "You have a point" I nodded leaning back so he can hear me. "Miss Taylor is there something you want to share with the class?" Mr Jones asked raising an eyebrow looking like one of them girls that raise their eyebrows when they are asking their friend if they have a crush on someone. I burst out laughing not being able to hold it in any longer, it's not my fault he looks like some white girl cheerleader. "Sir it's the last day of school I ain't got time to do your homework" I continued to laugh while standing up, grabbing my backpack and walking out the room after doing a bit of parkour on the tables.

Jack: Bro you're in deep shit right now you better get out of school.

I read the text that Jack sent me just a few seconds ago. I was about to make a runner when I heard the same words I heard every single day. "Miss Taylor please make your way to the principal's office" it's was always that same teacher that makes my announcements Miss Williams. I sighed to myself before walking down the same old familiar hallways. Of course I knew exactly what was coming now because it's what happens every single time I go down to that black and white designed room.

"Marina please make yourself comfortable and take a seat" she smiled sweetly but I could see the annoyance on her face and in her voice. I took a look around the room to see that she was remodelling it. The walls were all plain white, a bit boring but oh well I love white. Beside the door she put a long sofa and there were a bunch of shelves it's like another library exploded in here and I hate the library. Do you know how stupid that dang school library makes me feel? Like okay good for you you're a straight A student with a doctor's future set out for you all the way in Harvard but you don't need to rub it in.

I might be smart but when you're like me it doesn't matter if you could have a 4.0 GPA.
