New arival (Chapter 1)

"Ugh my hea..." I looked around the forest surrounding me,"W-Where am I!"
I stood up and found a bag laying next to me with some resources but how were those supposed to help me survive out here. I started picking through the large bag for anything to describe my location, how I got here, anything?! Until I spotted a small journal... I skimmed through the pages and found one page with something on it...

Hello Kim, I'm glad you have finally awaken from your slumber hehe. You must have had a nice little nap. Anyways, I'm coming... We all are... You can't stop us... And we will eliminate all that you love... That is if they aren't already dead! Haha! I crack myself up sometimes. Anyways, have a nice life while you can...
~Your Worst Nightmare

I threw the book to the ground and ran as fast as I can, I almost didn't notice the wall in front of me. I turned my head to see the giant stone wall blocking my path, I kept running without thinking... Until someone caught me by surprise. They grabbed my hand just as I hit my head and fell to the floor. I blacked out from there.
As the room started to fade back I saw myself inside of a hospital room with a masked man sitting beside me.
"Are you the one who tried to save me?" I weakly looked over to him.
"Yes miss..?" He looks at me in confusion.
"It's Kim."
"Alright miss Kim, I don't believe I've seen you around this part of the forest before. Are you lost?"
"I-I don't actually know..." I turn my head and face away from him so he can't see my fear.
"Oh... Do you remember where your from?" He has a sympathetic tone in his voice.
"No...I can't remember anythi-" I was interrupted by the loud thud on the door, it burst open and a young lady ran in.
"Is she awake!?" She ran up to the masked knight,"Oh my gosh! Hello! Ummm my name is Caroline." She smiles and looks at me.
"Oh ya, I'm Jay," the masked knight says.
"So where are you from miss?" Caroline looks at me.
"I don't know..." I turn my head back away from them.
"Did this memory loss occur from when you hit your head?" Jay asked me.
"No, I couldn't remember anything even before that..." I sat up from my bed and Jay motioned me to lay back down, I ignored him though.
"Why were you running through the woods anyway?" Jay laid me back down.
I chose not to tell them about the threat letter,"I was just scared about not knowing anything... I just ran I guess."
"Heh, I should probably go tell The Lord of your presence," he stood up,"Now you stay here and rest until I tell you further information. You understand?"
I could tell that he thought I was trying to die, or I wasn't telling him the truth, and I didn't want to worry him so I nod my head in agreement.
"Thank you," he leaves the room.
"Your dress!" Caroline screams, I thought she was going to have a heart attack,"It looks terrible, I'm going to go knit you a new one!"
"No... You really don't have to-" by then she was already out the door, but I sort of agreed with her my dress was filled with grass stains, dirt marks, and. Blood from my head. I guess I have no other choice but to rest for the time being, I close my eyes and everything turns black and faded, but in the distance I saw something grey with bursting red eyes and a look that could rip out your spirt. It started to mumble words very faintly, not until it had reached me with its dead eyes could I hear,"I'm coming... We all are..." I screamed and woke almost instantly to find Jay sitting right next to me.
"Miss Kim! A-Are you okay!?" He looks at me with terror in his eyes
"I... I'm fine... It was just a nightmare." I lied, I wasn't fine intact I was scared to death. I should have told him everything, but I didn't know if I could trust him... If I could trust anyone at this point.
