Her heart had skipped a beat as the silver smart phone fell from her hand and crashed onto the brown hardwood floor with a loud "thud." Screaming could be heard from the other end. It was the voice of another girl, and that voice was filled with panic and worry. "Anna? ANNA!? Are you okay!? What's happening? SAY SOMETHI--" the call suddenly dropped while tears began to form in Anna's eyes, which had now been red with fear, shock, rage, regret, and sadness.

"Haru..." Anna clenched her fists, but restrained the urge to break something. Anything, maybe even everything she could get ahold of. Quickly, she rushed out of the door of her home, running down the street to the hospital, luckily only living six blocks away.

Tears were streaming down her face as Anna entered the building. To be able to believe what she heard, she had to see it for herself.

In a full sprint down the white, light blue and light green hallways, she passed various nurses, doctors, and different kinds of medical equipment. Seeing her expression, no one tried to stop her, knowing that something serious must have been happening.

Anna finally arrived into room 143, rushing beside the bed. The room was silent, except for her hard breathing, crying, and the constant, loud ringing that came from one of the monitors of the room. "Haru... You said you'd always be there for me.... You lied..." Anna whispered, now softly sobbing into the thin, white blankets. Haru was dead.
