Matching Bracelets [ON HOLD]

Teasing at it's finest

Romeo and Wendy were roaming the halls of Fairy Tail High, about to go to lunch.

"C'ya later Wendy!"

"Bye Romeo!"

As they said their goodbyes towards each other, they went to go sit at their tables. Romeo went to Natsu's table and Wendy went to Lucy's. At Natsu's table, there was Gray, Loke, Gajeel, Jellal, and Laxus. At Lucy's table, there was Juvia, Cana, Erza, and Mira.

"Hi everyone!" Wendy said cheerfully as she sat in between Mira and Lucy.

"Hey Wendy!" Everyone at Lucy's table said in sync, as she was usually the last one to her table. They all got used to it because of how late she would always be.

"Were you making out with your boyfriend again?" Lucy said teasingly while snickering.

They didn't always do teasing like this towards Wendy, but the others only started doing it recently. The would mainly tease each other and leave Wendy out of it because of her young age. However, it was mostly Mira doing the teasing, especially towards Lucy. Mira would even lock her and Natsu in closets located in the school! But the plans wouldn't work because they are too dense or Natsu would knock down the door.

"U-uh n-no! Me and R-romeo were doing no such things! Wendy said as she was trying not to stutter. She didn't however, realize that she was set up.

"I never mentioned Romeo, now did I? Is that hinting something?" Lucy said as she was holding back her laughs.

Her whole table was now laughing uncontrollably and Wendy was getting irritated. Wendy was, of course, blushing a lot as her whole face was now a deep scarlet color. This caught someone's eyes as he saw her blushing and denying her friends accusations.

This someone was Romeo, Wendy's best friend.

He was starring at Lucy's table, specifically Wendy. He was wondering why she was so red and why all of her friends were just laughing at her.

Natsu noticed that Romeo was spacing out since he wasn't giving any input in their conversations. But he also noticed that he was looking at Wendy.

"This is the perfect moment to tease him," Natsu thought to himself as he snickered. He interupted Gray and Gajeel's fight by yelling loud enough for Lucy's table to hear, "Romeo! Why are you starring at Wendy?!" He finished it off with a big smirk at the end.

This knocked Romeo out of his thoughts as he started to deny Natsu as his whole table was now laughing.

"Psh... No, I wasn't starring at Wendy! What are you thinking?! Are you blind!" Romeo stated at he crossed his arms over his chest and looked the other way, trying to hide his blush.

"Romeo's starring at Wendy! Romeo's starring at Wendy!" His whole table chimed into the teasing and started screaming it so loud that the whole lunch room could hear.

However, Wendy wasn't paying any attention toward the teasing of her best friend, as she was also starring at him. She was wondering the same thing as he was, which is why he was blushing.

"Now Wendy's starring at Romeo!" Levy screamed as everyone in the lunch room was now laughing and or making new rumors.

Wendy finally noticed what was happening and quickly hit her head on the table, causing a load thud to echo through the lunch room.

"Ugh... No wonder we're best friends... We practically do the same things without even realizing it..." She muttered to herself, unaware that someone heard her. So he tapped her shoulder. "If your here to tease me more, then don't even bother," she said as she kept her head on the table.

"Uh no Wen, that's not what I'm here to do..." Romeo said as he scratched the back of his neck.

When she heard Romeo's voice, she was instantly relived and raised her head from the table.

When she looked up and she locked eyes with Romeo for about 10 seconds. Then she left his mesmerizing eyes and looked around the lunch room. They were the only ones left!

"That explains why he called me by my nickname, he never does that around our friends..." She thought to herself before asking, "huh? Where is everyone?"

"Well..." He said as he was trying to think of how to tell her. "You see, after both of our groups of friends teased us for starring at each other, everyone in the lunch room laughed, made rumors, and then left." He said as he starred at his shoes, not wanting to see her reaction.

Wendy's face started to heat up again, making her face that deep scarlet color as she remembered what happened. "Oh, right... It's so embarrassing..." She replied back. She then started to tug on her dark purple bracelet, matching Romeo's hair color perfectly. She looked at Romeo to see that he was doing the same, except his bracelet was the same blue color of Wendy's hair.

"Yeah, that was awful... But I'm guessing that there will be more teasing to come, so we should probably get used to it. I'm also surprised that it didn't start sooner, knowing how close we are." Romeo said as he shifted his gaze to Wendy.

"Me too, it shocked me that Mira the matchmaker didn't realize it either. I think that's the most surprising part!"

"She's probably too busy trying to get Natsu and Lucy together that she neglected us!"

Then they started making fun of their friends and Mira's ships. They started to laugh hysterically and it even got to the point to where they were both clenching their stomaches and rolling on the floor.

Beep beep. Beep beep.

Both of their phones went off simultaneously, but by 2 different people. They instantly stopped laughing and gained back their composure. They grabbed their phones to see messages from Natsu and Lucy.

To Wendy:

Where are you, class started 20 minutes ago! Are you with Romeo? ;)

To Romeo:
From Natsu:

dude class started 20 mins ago, r u with wendy? ;)

"Ugh... Of course he/she would say that..." They both said at the same time.
