Friday the 6th of February
I was the pretty much the only one at school, no one ever showed up on Friday. Normally I didn't show up either 'cause it was kinda my day off, but i had to go! Those keys weren't gonna find themselves. So I headed toward the boiler room, where my big sister's old boyfriend hung out with his friends. As I reached the steaming, metal walls of the boiler, I realized the room smelled suspiciously of stolen science alcohols, good thing they broke it off before my sister went off to college. The boiler was also where the photography teachers from the high school made the year books, they always start at the beginning of the year. At last I found the new teachers page of that year, there were 2 new 6th grade mss. At least there wasn't 10. I clearly had my work cut out for me, but I remembered something else that the big boys said.
"I'm gonna nick 'me the next time I'm in her neighborhood." The memory boomed in my head. He knew where she lived, if I could follow him, he'd lead me right to her. But he wanted the keys as well, I had to get the keys before he did. A little sabotage couldn't have hurt, at least it wouldn't hurt me. At least that's what I thought.
Suddenly, I was yanked out my thoughts by a soothing yet slightly irritating voice.
"Malicia, what are you doing down here? It's far too dark and scary for a little cutie like you." The pacifier aka the teacher who treats you like a child so you'll treat them like they're your best friend, while the big boys are getting way too friendly with them, said slowly like I was born yesterday. I knew she was coming down for her hourly cigarette. It really wasn't rocket science.
"Um, I was lost. And I'm really scared but I need to learn to be brave by myself. I love to learn!" I lied angelically in that innocent voice that makes pacifiers melt.
"Okay, cutie, whatever you say. But if you get too scared you can always come up to me and have a nice big hug! Don't forget about class, there are fun things to learn there, too." I roled my eyes in my imagination and grinned sweetly.

I stayed in the boiler room for another hour but, god, it was hot in there. Ironic, right? While i was looking for the new teachers page, again, i came across this other page from like 20 years ago, i still have no idea what it was doing down there. Anyway the page was a list of high school students' names, their photos, and a short paragraph about them, but it didn't look like something anyone would put in a year book because at the top of the page in big, bold letters were the words 'EXPELLED STUDENTS'. In the paragraph it explained why they were expelled.
Charles (Skip) Anderson: Drugged an entire softmore class. (Not original yet I wish I had thought of that)
Phillis Johnson: Blew up the largest science lab with stolen equipment. (Stolen equipment was a nice touch)
Janice Oberlight: unplanned pregnancy
Ronald Poopitte: Discovered as illegitimate.
That wasn't exactly what it said but that's basically what was written.
Wow, i thought. I always knew Abrahmdale was merciless to bastards and still is, but to kick a guy out of a school because he's one is...unbelievable.
Hang on, you're smart, I'm sure you recognised that hysterical last name. Dr poopitte, working at the same school that expelled him 20 years ago! I wondered why they let him back in, in those days bastards were treated badly and today bastards are treated badly. What's the cut?

Creak!

The heavy metal door to the boiler room screeched open, behind it i could hear idiotic laughing.
"oh no, is it after school already?" i whispered to myself as i ran to hide in the doorway. On Friday afternoons the boys from the high school would sneak in and drink like my sister's oldboyfriend used to. They were ruthless. I could have been killed. Or worse, be stuck watching them get drunk and stoned. Luckily they had had a little pre-drinking/drug session.
"Oh, dude, is that a doll over there hiding?"
"No, dude, that's the pot messin' with your brainssss!"
"Come on, dude are we gonna stand here or are we gonna party! Or maybe sit down for a while." i rolled my eyes at their stupidity. When they had stumbled to the end of the metallic corridor and into the round walls of the boiler, I snuck out without their blood shot eyes seeing me. after that i ran home, grinning like a psycho villain. I had actually found something! I had actually done something with the time i had wasted! That almost never happened.
