"Ever feel like the universe screwed you over? Well, I do. All the time. I mean, I guess I shouldn't, but I just do. As Alpha of the Bohemian Wolves, I should feel proud, and as the only female Alpha in the world, I should feel strong! But, I just don't! What am I going to do?"

"Shift," I commanded. I was getting sick and tired of these challenges. As the chocolate-brown wolf became human, I looked the blonde woman in the eyes. "Listen, and listen good," I snarled. "I am not going to put up with these challenges." She started to speak, but I silenced her. "I have been tolerating these challenges, and giving them a choice. But, I'm done. The next she-wolf that issues a challenge is as good as dead," I spoke loud so the whole pack heard. "Understood?" I heard the pack mumble "yes", so I moved on.
Shelia, born of Midnight Wolves, once a close friend, had challenged me. Simply put, my wolf wanted her dead. I looked at her. "Go" I said. She scampered off. Trent looked at me. "What about a treaty? Pack Law states tha-" I cut him off. "Screw Pack Law. I don't need a treaty to say that if another she-wolf issues a challenge, it's suicide. Their death will be on their hands, not mine. Got it?" I stated, annoyed. He nodded hesitantly. Achilles, take them for a run, please," I said. "Got it, Ash. We'll be back around 9. Give you some time alone."
This is why I love my pack. They understand. I walked back to my cabin. This, by far, was my favorite of our pack properties. It was in a forest covered area in Colorado, where each pack member had a cabin and we had acres upon acres of land to just run. It was amazing.
When I arrived at my cabin, I unlocked the door and walked inside. I closed the door behind me and headed for my bedroom. After grabbing a dark blue robe, I went into the bathroom. Once in the bathroom, I turned the hot water on in the tub.
"Time to relax," I thought to myself.
I quickly undressed and stepped into the tub and sat down. As I leaned my head against the wall, a sign escaped my lips.
" Time to ease my mind," I spoke as if someone could hear.
