Mari is your average high school otaku girl. She likes video games, anime, and couldn't care less what you think of her.
Obi is your typical gang member. He's laid back, lazy, and thought high school was to much of a bother to finish.
The one thing they both have in common is irregular cat eyes.

"Hey brat! It's rude to wear a hat indoors!" Mari scolded loudly at a stranger in the arcade that she worked in part time.
The strange turned around, and widened his cat-like eyes, when he saw her eyes were similar to his. He quickly recovered from his temporary shock, and wore a large challenging grin. "Oh yeah, and what are you gonna do about it." He chanted practicality sneering.
She went up to the game he was playing, bent down, and unplugged it. "My bad, looks like this game is out of service." She said in a false sweet voice. Then she put on a malicious grin. "Just like you if you don't get the hell out of here." She growled in a darker tone, while pointing to the exit.
"Whatever, I never like this place much anyway." He stated bluntly. He walked past her, flicking a piece of her hair before continuing out of the store.
She turned around, and yelled after him. "And don't come back!" The only answer she got was the soft jingle of the door as it closed, rusting the bells on the doorknob.
"Mari! The manager wants to speak with you!" One of the other employees informed her.

"I can't believe I got fired! That guy was asking for it!" Mari cried in frustration to herself. "Mom's gonna kill me, I needed that job!" She whined.

"Hey Obi weren't you going to the arcade today?" One of the other gang members asked him.
"Yeah, I got kicked out." He explained.
"Wha'd ya do this time." Another member piped in.
"I didn't take off my hat." Obi said with a smirk.
"Dude that's lame!"
"Yeah, some girl with a stick up her ass didn't like it. She had quite a spark to her though." He declared.
"Was she hot?"
"Did she slap you?"
"How old was she?"
"Well, she's about a seven or eight. She didn't slap me, but I flicked her hair, and she's probably on her last year of high school I'd say." Obi answered. Although he didn't admit it he wanted to see her again, or her eyes again.
"Probably an otaku too." He added.
"I'm in love!" One guy randomly cried out in the background.

"Remember Mari, don't talk if necessary, just hand them the money, and leave. I don't want you to get snappy like you always do. I swear you need an attitude adjustment." Her mother rambled on, as she handed her an envelope, filled with cash. "Be careful." She hugged Mari. "Sorry you have to do this." She apologized.
"See you soon mom." Mari replied monotone.
She left her mothers embrace, and wakled out of the house. After twenty minutes of walking, she arrived at her destination. Without hesitation she entered the small building.
Immediately she was met by several burly men who lead her to a separate room in silence. She cluched the envelope closer to her, as they closed the door behind her. She saw two figures in the dim lighting.
