I just knew that the rest of his body was as good looking as his face because his face looked so good. 'What am i thinking?' I ask my self. Then I realized that his mouth is moving but I didn't hear what he said, so I asked " Oh, sorry , what did you say?" Then I realized that i just TALKED, I am under water and I just casually said " Oh, sorry what did you say" I think I am going crazy.
"I asked you why you are here and who you are, trust me I now every living creature in these waters and I have never seen you before , so i will ask again , Who are you?!" He demands.
"Oh sorry, my name is Enya. I am from up top. That is why you have never seen me before." I say , then I realize that that was a stupid thing to say because I have a fish's tail (a beautiful one at that) and humans don't have fish tails. Then he gives me the strangest look like I just grew wings and horns (or I just grew a TAIL and I am HUMAN!!!) so I ask as calmly as possible "What, is something wrong?"
"No, no sorry its just we have never seen a human have a mer-tail before."
"You said 'we' who else is there?"
"I am actually the prince, we have over 5000 merpeople in our group, we are the biggest merclan there is."
"Wow." I say. I have never thought about mermaids being real before, I was more of a werewolf and fairy type of girl. I guess it just never came to me.
"You know what, I am going to take you to see our palace grounds, I love showing people around, and you are one of us now you'll hopefully like it." He says, then gives me the most brilliant smile I have ever seen.
'I do think I will like it here.' I tell myself.
